Deadlifting wasn’t going well the other day, so I started messing around with good mornings. Can’t remember going over 200 lbs the last time I did them.
I ended up getting 255x8. I’m curious to see where my low-bar squat is now.

Hit 3x120kg/265lbs in the squat today (sorry no video, but it was ATG without any gear).
Before I broke my collarbone in in august, my best squat was 2x110kg. I started squatting again a month later, using Bill Starr 5x5 template, hitting a heavy 5x90kg. Hopefully I’ll get 5x120kg before before new years eve.

being slapped like that triggers one hell of an adrenalin dump. have someone crack ya on the back of the neck sometime , right where the skull meets the spine.
I’m training for my first powerlifting meet on Jan. 24th. I’ll be competing at 67.5kg (148lbs) with knee wraps and a belt. I trained with some new people today and got a few additional pointers that helped a lot. Got two new PRs:
Squat: Previous best - 245lbs. Today - 275lbs
Bench: Previous - 110lbs. Today - 120lbs
The squat came up really easily, but I struggled a bit with the bench. The guys I was training with think I can hit 300lbs on my squat with just my wraps and my belt. I think that would be pretty sweet.
Hit 385x6 the other day on squats on my 5-3-1 program. It was on my 3 week. Had 2-3 more reps in me too.
