435x2 so i think all the back leg and olympic work had helped a shit load, looking for 500 in a month

nice! seems like you’re coming back pretty fast. congrats
thanks man i really want to hit a 4 plate box squat which i think is possible before the new year, also think it has something to do with working out my abs for once and having 2 back days instead of 1 once in a while who knows

Pr at 275 for three today, which is kinda funny because it was my max 2 months ago. first time i’ve actually videoed myself squating… i got deep enough but my form looks pretty terrible… comments?
Form looks fine. Doesn’t look like you broke parallel tho.

why is there like 10 plates per side?

its four 25 lb bumper plates, then one 10 lb plate, then a 5 lb metal plate all on a 45 pound bar. its at my schools gym, so its kinda what we have (limited selection of metal)

haha, the plus side is that you look badass.
hell yeah! and when deadlifting you literally fill up the whole bar to get it up to around 405, which is just awesome. plus the bars are crap so they bend really easily

hit a 295 single deadlift last night, but i dont own a camera :<. first time on max effort. tried a 305 and it failed lol, hoping for a 315 by end of the year

I remember that one (315) quite well

keep at it guy

set some baselines and one br:

box squat: 315x4, knees caved on last one but hey ill take that and now i know i need to work on form for a bit (pr +1 or 2 reps dont remember)

low pin squats, starting just above parallel these are a abitch and i hope they help with get low on deads and shot put being explosive, 225x3x3

fatbar cleans  i forgot i made my own fat bar so i tried these out they are very manly

romanians off 3 inch platform, 315x3 stopped short of my max i dont want to go crazy on these, once i hit 405x5 i want to see where my regular dead is should be fun

12-12-2008

3 board manpon press

better yet

Box squat

12" box @ 5’6" ; thats my regular/medium box height

these are more like baseline PR’s , as they are previously un-tested . I’m pretty sure I can beat them with proper spacing of loads/reps between sets . but they are more than I’ve handled before , so I’ll post 'em.

5RM…225

3RM…2265

1RM…295 (this one was a grind)

one of these weeks I’m going for 3 double CB’s PWO ! I think I can do it !!

nice grindage on the 2nd rep

I’m thinking about buying a trap bar next year . is the trap-bar pull suitable as regular ME work ? or is it too similar to a regular DL ??

thanks!! it would make a good ME for squat day. it’s nothing like a regular deadlift. it’s pretty much all thighs and hips. the weight is directly in line with the hips. i did these on squat day.
