Was feeling squirrely today and went into the gym for some legwork a day early.
Got this:
Deadlift
495x1 (weight PR +30lbs)
515x1 (+50!)
Thanks for the program, Meat! Seems to be working.
Chin-ups: BW+60x3, PR +31 lbs (16 lbs of that being bodyweight)
Is it weird to gain as much on your chin-up as your bench press in the same time frame?
Should be making some deadlift and squat PRs soon, now that I’ve finally recovered from an awful summer training-wise.

After missing at lockout in my last meet, I’ve decided to do a lot of chain work for the next 10 weeks.
So this is more of a baseline PR than anything.
405 +55 in chain (from a 1" deficit) for 3.

holy shit that made me nauseous
good day today: 235x8 squat (plus 5 pounds and plus 3 reps :)), leg press 630x4, +90 pounds, -2 reps so ill call it a pr

I’ve been pulling from a 3-4 inch defecit with chains.
Yesterday I hit 385+chainsx1 for a PR. Pulling with chains really forces you to pull hard and fast.
today was supposed to be a RE squat day but it was more like a ME day. i got a 25lb PR on barbell hack squats. this exercise is a bitch. especially for someone like me with t-rex arms. i have to do them elevated. i can’t contort my body into the position from the floor. my arms are either too short or my guts too big:)
here’s my 675 and 700 pulls. i’ll throw in my last set of paused front squats with 405 for shits and giggles.
