405 x 3 yesterday for squat. Last rep was ugly, but I got it. Next time, I will probably just do the same weight but clean up the reps.

Bench is flying, unfortunately my adductor is still sucking so no new Deadlift PR’s yet.

found a good use for the titan ram. i’ve been using it for tricep work. i do close grips with it and it really overloads the triceps.

I’ve been lifting for almost a year now and decided to look back on my first day’s log and see how far I’ve come.

May 2010
Squat - 5 x 95 lb with probably really bad form
Bench - 5 x 50 lbs
Deadlift - 5 x 65 lbs

May 2011
Squat - 1 x 155 lb with decent form
Bench - 1 x 110
Deadlift - 1 x 245 lb

I’m kind of disappointed with my squat and bench, neither of them go up in any consistent manner. I felt like I would get more out of beginner gains also. But I’m happy with my deadlift. Maybe this year that I won’t be playing another sport I can see more consistent progress!

Finally hit a 485lb deadlift yesterday. I had been stuck at 455 for quite awhile. I really need to get a video camera, so I can get some video of the lifts.
