Looks like the training is going great meat, that good to see! Also it is good to see the goat back on your face, you just didn’t look as strong without it.
Do you have a full meet planned anytime soon?
thank you.
training is going really well. the goat is the source of power that all things revolve around. besides, my face looks much better covered up with hair.
if all goes well, i have 4 sanctioned and one non sanctioned meet this coming year. the first is a nonsanctioned bench only meet. then there’s two SPF meets here in VA… can’t miss those and an IPA va. state meet. my plans are to do the bench only, then a push/pull and hit full meets for the last two.
I just need to stay healthy. I feel like i’ve turned the corner on that though. I’m cycling my training better instead of sticking with lifts too long. I’m also doing all the things that i hate to do, so that must be a good thing. plus, i’m getting stronger while dropping weight. at my heaviest, i’ve weighed in the 290’s. right now i’m sitting at 255. I feel strong and healthy. who could ask for more.
thanks for the interest.

Keep up the good work, that front squat looked incredible.
Question for you MM, the week of a meet how do you change your workout, or do you even change it at all? And whats your diet look like the day of a meet? Do you bring along a bunch of food, just some shakes, or what?
thanks.
i don’t typically train the week of a meet. i may work up to openers two weeks out but that’s about it.
the day of a meet, i always get up early and get a big breakfast… eggs, pancakes, bacon,… the works. as for at the meet. i keep a cooler filled with bagels and a jar of peanut butter, bananas, fig newtons and gatorade.
thanks again.
