A new squat PR 160 kilos ,tried to do 165k but my legs were not strong enough, midsection held nicely, any suggestions on what do to. My own thoughts are to do alot atg squatting and front squats, maybe heavy leg presses?

leg presses have never helped me with squatting, only getting bigger quads, try front squats, box squats, pin squats mostly porbably just squat more

215x12, bested my 205x10
shooting for 225x10+ next week then switching to incline close grip for my new training cycle
Hit my zercher goal a few days ago, 100kg 3 sets of 5. I’m still very new to them so progress is going pretty well.
I’ve been lifting for about 10 months and currently weigh 155-160.
PR- Tonight, I deadlifted 315 raw with a hook grip. Locked that shit out. Spine in natural arch the whole way.
PR- Earlier today, I did a raw squat parallel and beyond with 245.
My bench sucks though. PR 185, I could hit at least 205 now. Hopin for 225 w/o losing my other numbers.

Think that’s it. Still weak for a HW, but getting better.
Back squatted 225 for 8 very easy reps 2 days ago. My legs have never been more sore. The previous workout I had done 5x3 with 225 and it was hard. I dunno where in the hell those 5 extra reps came from but I like it.
Also power clean and jerked 195 the other day. 15 pound PR on the jerk.

Standing Military 205 x 7, +4 rep PR or a +10 lb weight PR for a 7RM
