Why am i always tired? i get like 7-9 hours of sleep a night depending which day. I eat up all day but, i always seem tired? Anyone know why? Someone please help, thanks.
I get tired if I am just laying around all day except for lifting. Also is there a chance you have mono?? I don’t know just a guess. What is your daily activity like?
More water, less coffee, sometimes less food, m-vit, try gingko bro
Peace
I wish I had some advice…I have the same exact problem. Sleep 8-9 hrs/night but I always feel drowsy. BTW, I’ve just order Power Drive to see if this makes a difference for me, never taken it before.
Many factors to consider here:
Job
Life Stress
Hydration
Relationships
Overtraining
Alcohol/Drugs
Bad carbs
The list goes on. Have you really taken a close look at the possible factors? I usually find that one or a combination of the above is a factor in my life when I’m fatigued.
I have noticed that females complain far more about being tired than males do.
I have a few theorys on this. Are you male Bobopunx? I assume you are.
I dont drink coffe, i’m not a stressful person, powerdrive doesn’t help, i don’t drink that often, take a multi-v, ginco is in powerdrive so i guess that’s a no-no. I’m a male. Maybe im lacking something else. I’ve had mono a long time ago. This isn’t a recent thing, it’s been like this for a long time. At anytime of the day i can take a nap and pass out for hours? Oh, yeah, i drink a lot of water also. Anyone else?
Go to the thyroid thread i started and look at some of the other symptoms there. See if you can match any, maybe it’s a thyroid problem.
could be iron deficiency.
I have the EXACT same problem!
No stress, get plenty of sleep, etc. Still always feel tired… diet is usually in good shape, I take PD before workouts.
Any further ideas or thoughts on this?
Depending where you live that lack of sunlight (during certain seasons) can have an effect. It has something to do with melatonin (sp?), but that’s about the extent of my knowledge.
You know, general boredom or lack of huge excitement in our lives leads to a lack of energy.
That’s why I almost get driven nuts by energy supplements, or diets like Ori’s “Warrior Diet” that promises boundless energy. Honestly, when I have to write tons of boring essays (not stressful at all for me), obviously my energy is not going to be there.
We have energy when something is important in our minds.
Same problem. even when i was able to sleep for 12 hours a day this summer i was still tired all the time. Turns out i have sleep apnea. they gave me this crazy CPAP machine that took care of the apnea, but i still sleep like no other. the doc says i have a lot of signs of narcolepsy. i go in for my 3th friggin sleep study this weekend. if they cant fix it, i am just gonna snap.
I’m the same way. I do drink a lot of caffeine.
Hydration and “bad carbs” are the worst for me. I am currently trying Power Drive “for the hell of it” and took my first dose a couple of hours ago. After about 30 minutes and lasting for about 2 hours, I felt pretty good. Its going to be interesting to see how it works out at 5 am pre-leg day. ![]()
Get your blood sugar tested or buy a monitor and do it yourself (they practically give them away to get you using the test strips).
One of the first signs of high blood glucose is fatigue.
I found I had a similar problem a while ago. Started taking ZMA in the evening before bed and it seems that my sleep patterns were much deeper. Also, had crazy dreams.
When I get up the next day, it takes me about 2 minutes to be wide eyed and refreshed. Give ZMA a go and see if you find a difference in your sleep patterns.
How about depression? When you wake up do you have a hard time getting out of bed? Dysthymia is a low grade chronic depression that will cause you to feel lethargic, but not super depressed.
I have the same problem, should have some ZMA here saturday so I will see if that helps. Otherwise I’m going in for a sleep study, was suposed to do that awhile ago. Doctor things I have some thing… can’t remember the name of it, but basicly I move to much in my sleep and never really get into REM. If thats not the case back to psychologist to see if I still have depression lingering.
basicly… try some suplements… and see a doctor. I’ll let you know if ZMA helps.
Hi:
If you take a week off from training (or better two) in the gym and playing sports do you still feel tired?
