Mike Tyson was on drugs in case some missed that.
Any clean ear munching?

You have some valid points here, but lets not get lost in guessing difference in pounds. There is still a world of difference between them. They are of different build.Roy Jones would fit what you call easy-hard gainer type and a Tyson a heavier, pure mesomorph.

Oh I agree 100%. Roy Jones seems to be an ecto-meso and Tyson a pure meso. Heck Tyson was basically 90-95% of his peak weight/condition when he was 18 without much lifting at all (mostly bodyweight stuff) while at 18 Jones boxed as an amateur in the 139 class in the amateurs (so we probably was about 145-150)⦠he did fight lighter as a junior though (119) when he was 15.

A bit of topic, but Fedors build seems like enigma.Average height, very thick muscular torso compared with legs and arms, lots of body fat ,but superbly conditioned and explosive, yet of calm temperament(compared with someone like Wanderlei Silva, for example).

He might have been, but I think that the ear bitting might have more to do with him being a manic-depressive off his meds before a fight to be more aggressive. Although it sometimes backfired because he hit a depressive phase instead of a manic phase prior to the fight, which is why in some fights he was an animal while in a few others he barely look there.

Totally in agreement with that. Fedor doesnāt look like an athlete and doesnāt have the demeanor of an athlete. But I would say that at his peak he was the most dangerous human being on earth.
Kinda like those strong farm boy that donāt look that impressive but can lift the world.

Fighting as a heavyweight, but at fat 230 lb. and with average height. He could have easily squeezed into 205 pound-class,but he fought against the biggest and strongest and destroyed them. His training was also very, very basic and you can only imagine his diet hahahahaha!!!

Destructive strikers are just born that way, they are wired differently, just like world class sprinters. Yeah, with training you can gain some striking power, but to reach the level of the true freaks you have to have āthe giftā.

Rate coding i.e. easily adrenalized people that can turn it all on at the drop of the hat.
There is no definitive method of enhancing RDF.It very genetic quality.Hard to train.

I had no clue about that.
An other example is the younger William sister tennis pro at the NY grand slam.
Like baseball guys growing their feet, head size, going from 25 to 58 homeruns⦠past 26 yo.
On the subject, can 1 add 20 pounds with aid(wrestrlers etcā¦).

The above 3 posts infer:
-Mike Tyson took PEDs
-Mike Tyson was heavily medicated for the duration of his career for manic depression
-Serena Williams took PEDs during the US Open
Is there even one iota of evidence to back any of these claims up?

You misinterpreted what CT said about Tyson. But anyway:
http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/more/boxing/2002/lewis_tyson/news/2002/06/06/fish_tyson_meds/
A team of psychiatrists and neurologist who evaluated Tyson in 1998 reported to the Nevada commission that he suffers from chronic depression, low self-esteem and bouts of fury. The doctorsā report also revealed that Tyson briefly took lithium in 1988 after being diagnosed as manic-depressive and later controlled the condition with the anti-depressant Zoloft.
Co-trainer Ronnie Shields, who joined the Tyson camp two months ago, says āI know they take him off [medication] two or three weeks before the fight. What it is or if heās been on anything, I donāt know. But I know his attitude is great.ā

Honestly you cannot really get under my skin. If I took personal everything that someone tells me (or say about me) on the internetz Iād have to take a second mortgage to pay for my psychologist feeās!!!
But I do think that this actually gives us a good opportunity to really show what 50lbs of muscle looks like because people do not seem to realize how much that really is and how much of a visual difference it makes.
To really know what 50lbs of added muscle looks like we have to compare people in similar conditions (about same body fat and dehydration state).
So here is a good example⦠comparison between Stu Yellin and Dexter Jackson. Both are about the same height. Stu competes at roughly 175lbs and Dexter at roughly 225lbs (although many experts, including Chad Nichols have reported that Dexter tends to inflate his body weight and really is about 215 in contest shape)⦠So both have a 50lbs difference (or 40) at the same height and about the same body fat level.
Stu has a fantastic physique and is a great natural bodybuilder, but Dexter looks like someone from a different species.[/quote]
So you consider Stu a natural, given the thread that was posted earlier? Not that it matters as to the quality of Stuās advice or takes away from him being a good bodybuilder, but it feels like a bit of an elephant in the room now.

Dude, the point of CTās post was not to comment on Stuās natural status, his post actually has nothing to do with that but is just showing how much 40-50 pounds of muscle really is.
There is no elephant in the room, Stu has commented on these issues before. Any further discussion is no more than dragging a good guy through the mud, undeservedly.

Not at all⦠someone else said that Tyson took PED which is why he bit Holyfieldās ear off. I replied maybe (as in there has been speculations but I give him the benefit of the doubt, I always do) but that his medical condition (which is documented) and being off his meds before fights (which is also documented) might have more to do with it .
For what itās worth I personally do not believe that Tyson took PED, at 18 he was already close to his top physical shape with almost no strength training.

yeah i meant you with regards to the medication not the PEDs, the other guy mentioned PEDs
agree with your last point, he was 190lbs when he turned up to Tryon correctional aged 13.

He specifically made the point that Stu is natural and Dexter is not. I just find it curious that people with prior prohormone use are considered natural now. I must have missed the memo.

I did not know about his prior pro-hormone use. But in all fairness these products were legal and few people at the time understood that they were actually steroids, and their legality made the association harder.
But that was like what? 8 years ago? I doubt that his current physique due, even a small percentage of it, to pro-hormone used 8 years ago. I mean, since it was a steroid and did shut you down, chances are that after 8 years (1) the gains he got are lost (2) his physiology has long returned to a natural status/level.
