Thanks
Hm. They wouldn’t accept my credit card information for some reason. Guess you’ll miss out on my 40 dollars, Thib.
bump…any progress updates people?
Any thoughts from those who have the program about how this might be adaptable for a veggie-saurus? And please keep your taunting remarks about vegetarians to yourselves…LOL

I’m doing the program, and can’t see how that would be possible… Unless you eat eggs. Lots and lots of protein powder, I guess. You might want to take a look at Berardi’s latest project. There was an article about it not long ago.
Thanks, Mr Purple. I do eat lots of eggs and have my share of protein drinks.
I have looked into Berardi’s program but his nutrition is a bit pricier, and doesn’t include workouts.
I’m a trainer, and damned if I don’t hate doing my own workout plans…lol
Thibs is awesome.

I don’t know if you are familiar with Mike Mahler, but he is a veg and he has a few articles on his website on vegan diets.
Do you ever have stomach issues from too many eggs?
Do you eat nuts? Do you eat/drink dairy?
I’m not doing the program by Thibs, but maybe we can help you.
Your gains thus far look impressive from what I can see in your avatar.

Great questions, Free. I am fine with dairy and with nuts, never having had stomach problems with eggs. I am new to the plant-based diet, having made my gains thus far by consuming flocks of chickens and an occasional cow (and yes, I love meat…lol). I have been keeping a close eye on the John Berardi thing, but I have done Thibs Superhero Program and was ASTOUNDED at what it did for my shoulders/traps. I love his delightfully painful rep schemes and may buy the ebook anyway, just for the workouts. When the second to last thing you do in a shoulder workout is 100 reps on lateral raises, with a finale of power shrugs (when your shoulders are toast and the traps have to do ALL the work), you know you are working with some kind of genius.

Thibs is a great coach!
Did you see Thibs comments above on the protein scoops versus the meat portions? It seems you could use Metabolic Drive for your portions. I think you might be lacking in fats and calories then, but I’m sure that coconut oil, macedamian oil and fish oil could take care of this.
I don’t know what Thibs would say but I think higher fat is important for proper hormone levels and even saturated fat is needed. I personally do very well on very high fat diets with carbs surrounding my training.
I did the anabolic diet for a long time and did good, but I do better with very low carbs except surrounding training. I have some orange or pinapple juice along with Whey before training and then a lot of juice, a few cookies and some fruit, with whey, leucine and creatine after training. My pumps are huge.
This is fairly new to me and the inital results are phenominal. I should also add that I’m using receptor max beofore the pre workout shake.
I respond excellently to the receptor max and the leucine as I tried these before trying the high carbs around training. They both worked well and they compound the results. The high carbs around training make my pumps huge. I get even more pumped after training while eating, I’ve never experienced that before.
I?ve been debating about the Velocity Diet or this program to trim down the excess bodyfat by August (summer vacation at the beach with the family)… The 12 weeks ties in perfectly with this, but I have a few questions for CT or any of you that have done it, or are on it…
First off, the thing holding me back on the V-diet is the amount of supplements. If I followed the V-Diet to the letter I?d be broke, as a lot of my cash is going to daycare expenses, etc. Is the only supplement on this plan protein and Surge?
What I?ve read so far on this, is it?s based more on ?meals? than shakes. Are the meals able to be eaten cold, as I don?t have access all the time to a microwave here at work?
Lastly, as you enter weeks 11-12, is there a ?maintenance? plan for this kind of diet to maintain the lower level of bodyfat, or is this more designed around a bulking/cutting program?
Does anyone know if this program is suitable for women?
Girls have different caloric and recovery needs, Im not sure if it would be to much.
Can anyone that’s purchased this let me know how many workout days are expected for this? I’m extremely interested, however i can only commit to 3 (in the gym) days per week. It’s like a carrot dangling in front of my face. i just don;t know if i can commit to it given other life responsibilities (work, wife, kids, etc)
Thanks

It appears it would work for either. I’m trying to get my wife to do it with me, but she’s got some bazzare eating habbits that will be tough for her to break.

6 days a week increasing later on to two workouts per day.
Just came upon this thread, went to the drivethu site and wow, great stuff. Especially with Coach Christian. You can get all his books, e-newsletter for just over 100 bucks!! That’s a great deal.

Hey Smallfry69, what’s the wife’s eating habits like??
Is this suitable for women? The calories are awfully high for me. I weigh 140lbs and and trying to drop to under 130. Do you think this program is suitable? Can the cals be adjusted?
Thanks!

I’m SURE the actual workout program is suitable for women. The only thing you’d have to adjust is calories and maybe macro breakdown.
That’s what I was thinking, too. Any women here that have actually tried it? CT - any suggestions on changing the cals?
