I may join this. If I can do it from my smartphone I’ll give it a shot.
@Chris_Colucci @The_Myth
I’m interested.
I did! I’ll be back for a family visit in April though, and would be down to make the trip to NY if we can figure it out!
Made me think of a favorite quote: ‘All of humanity’s problems stem from man’s inability to sit quietly in a room alone‘ - Blaise Pascal
Dude… how the hell are you? Hopefully Texas is treating you well.
There is a lot of truth in this statement. It gets more difficult with the increasing access to information.
Made it back to the gym today, worked up to a top set in SQ, BP, and OHP, then curls and press downs. Taking it slow.
Appreciate the interest and plan to do something in the future, but need to get more prepared, need to have a point in fact, lol.

Added 10# to top set of squats, 5# to OHP and BP. BPAs, curls and TPDs. Will try to get some LISS cardio in tomorrow. Weight still down, still looking skinny fat.
Doing well my friend! We are absolutely loving Austin, our first “winter” here was paradise. Beautiful blue skies, green grass and trees all year long.
Our real estate business has picked up a lot of momentum and is going well, and the music business is booming better than ever. Hopefully kiddos on the horizon soon.
Life has been way busier than I could have anticipated building our real estate company while still managing my music business, but it is extremely rewarding and worth it. My wife quit her day job and we spend our days together building our businesses, wouldn’t have it any other way.
Training wise getting in the gym 4-5 days a week and always eating clean, I’d prefer to be in the gym more than that but there’s just not enough hours in the day sometimes. Miss the T-Nation crew and wish there was time to post more, sometimes when free time rolls around the last thing I feel like doing is staring at a screen any longer between the music writing, and non-stop flow of emails and texts with the real estate stuff. Hope y’all are doing great! (No one here speaks with an accent, but “y’all” is common place and it has definitely creeped into my vocabulary!)
If anyone ever visits Austin please be sure to reach out!
Well, this has certainly been interesting.
Switched to a push/pull for now. Went to Planet Fatness today and did bench, ohp, tpd’s, and leg press. All low weight, working up to a tops set.
I moved.
I took a leave from teaching and moved 3100 miles away to the west coast and am so happy I did…
I took a gig as the sales manager of a pallet manufacturing company. I have an opportunity to have equity in it and it should be a killer deal. I’ll only have to work part time. In the meantime I’ll be selling real estate as well.
I’m partnering with some friends to sell 8-10 houses a year and my investment is my commission, so low entry fee.
Of course, I need to get a real estate license, so there is that.
I’ve already completed the training so I just need to take the test. I have a place to hang my broker’s license in Washington, so I am good there.
I need to get an Idaho license as well, which just means passing their test.
Miss my kids, but am going back to NY in a week to see them, will be going back every two or three weeks, so lot’s of travel.
Pull tomorrow - lpd’s. rows, curls, etc…
I’m living in an RV in a warehouse, so PF is a daily visit for shower. Might as well lift if I am there.
Peace!
I hope this is the best move for you, and you get to enjoy life some. That sucks having to travel that much for your kids, I can’t imagine. Be well, dude.
Yes, I hope so, too. Most important is that you be well.
You are one wild dude. No kidding.
Sounds like the move did you good dude. Glad.
Hoping that the move will do you very good.

Pull - LPD’s, rows, curls, leg curls.
Appreciate all of the kind words. Things are going great. Heading down to Portland on Sunday, then up to Shelton for a few days to get acclimated and start selling.
I have flights booked to go back to New York on Thursday but am wondering about the dreaded Coronavirus affecting them. My school is closed until 3/20, but the wife and kids’ schools are open.
Still waiting on documents to take the real estate test. Itching to get started on that as well.
All good!
Desperate times…change people, places, and things.
Yep.
I’m sure there are some good people out there for you too, and don’t forget that you also have a lot to offer.
Good things. The leap of faith has paid off.
I’ve been stuck in New York for a bit, heading back west on Monday.
I can’t be specific, but dreams have come true. I start a new job on May 1st and it is truly a dream job. Unfortunately it is a long way from my kids, but things will work out.
Peace!
Flew NY to SpoVegas on Monday, long drive south on Wednesday. I’ve rented an AirBnb in my new town, been up to my new gig every day - hit golf balls, played a few holes.
I officially take over on May 1 so am just flying under the radar for now. So excited to get my hands on this job, really cannot wait. It’s going to be huge.
