3 weeks out from a quad tear, had a cold on the day and slept 4 hours but didn’t end up doing too bad
207.5 squat
130 bench
262.5 deadlift
at 119 bw
so overall not bad but will do better next time, 3 whites on all 3 lifts in both squat and deadlift and definitely had more in the tank, bench was brutal, ref had us pause for a good 4 seconds
Did a “mock” comp. last week in my garage. Cut to 148, had my buddy spot/call commands.
Went 435/265/535 for 1235 total. Planning to compete in the near future, and I’m looking to crack 1300.
Since this original post, I’ve hit both squat and dl pr’s. My best squat is now 462lbs (+12), and my best dl is now 575lbs (+25). Bench press is stagnant. My body weight is holding steady around 152. My main goals right now are to squat 500 and pull 600, and I’d like to get at least one of the two by the end of the year. Currently I’m in the midst of a squat onslaught, after that I’ll spend the last few months of the year running a deadlift cycle.
I’ll play. I lift for bodybuilding, so my numbers are nowhere near as impressive as some. I could probably go heavier and increase some lifts, but the potential for injury is not worth it for me.

Thanks, I don’t ever go over 455 or so on squat anymore or 405 on bench. No point for my goals to be honest. But every now and then I like to see how my close to maximum strength is holding up for reference.

do these lifts only count in a meet or just in the gym whenever?
I would say officially for the books sure. But just for your own reference point, shrug.

If you ever actually maxed out powerlifting meet style I guarantee you’d hit bigger numbers than this.
