I am a firm believer that your mind is the most anabolic supplement around, and if you don’t believe you can accomplish something, you never will.[/quote]
I think this is the single most important realization to be made, as it will bring success in every facet of life.
^^^ and because this thread should always be one of the first ten listed, no matter what.
Because of those hamstrings.
holy shit that picture is badass
Bump.
Kai has decided to not defend his crown at the Arnold Classic this year. Can’t post any links but you can find video interviews and articles easily enough.
“Defending my Arnold Classic title, winning the Australia Grand Prix and competing in the Olympia took a toll on my body last year,” Greene said. “I’ve been competing at least three times a year since 2006, and I just felt like my body needed to rest in order for me to be at my best. I wish all of the competitors in the 2011 Arnold Classic the best, and I look forward to being back onstage in Columbus in 2012.” - Kai
Wonder what kind of package he will be able to bring to the Olympia after addressing the various injuries/mental blocks he’s been dealing with from having to compete so often.
The guy totally killed himself the past year, and people have to understand the stress (mental as well as physical) that such a 24/7, 365 day existence, focused on one singular goal can have on the body. I wish him well, and am sure he’ll bounce back at the 2011 Olympia.

3 times a year for 4 years straight… That’s pretty crazy…
as a lot of you fuckers know (fuckers is a term of affection) i’m a big kai fan.
things to be addressed in 2011. kai’s latest pics in flex…bit of gyno, it would serve him well to address that. before anyone wants to disagree and say see the T-Cell thread on gyno. it’s present and needs to be fixed.
2nd- before everyone screams GH gut bla, bla, bla…kai a few weeks out from the O of 2010 he was loking great. his distention at the O was a carb up error which had a lot to do w/ him peaking too soon for the O. peaking is like baking a cake, take it out too early your fucked, in too long and you’re fucked, when your ready, your ready, holding condition is not able to be done for long if you peak early. so the re-feed carb, attenpts to manipulate his on stage appearance backfired. add to that some GI upset and you get bloated.
would it serve him better to be a bit lighter on stage, sure…but not much lighter. lighter doesn’t always mean better conditioned. should he be really mindful of his waist, absolutely.
with these things addressed plus a nice long off season to rest his mind/body and repair Kai can absolutely win in 2011, to win kai needs to return to being shredded.
anyways…side note Branch Warren is headed to VT in March for a training session at my gym, a Q&A, and a guest posing at the show in VT!!! Yahoooo!
Smart move by Kai
I agree with everything cyruseven75 said.
Kai will bounce back and have a much better showing this year. Conditioning over mass would do him wonders imo.
Does anyone know if heath is gonna compete at the arnold?
I’m pretty sure Heath is sitting out the Arnold this year. Gonna focus on the 2011 O.

Which I’m hoping he will take.
Any word on Cutler? Aw fuck, who cares.
It sounds like Cutler is about a month into his off-season, and about 300lbs already.
lol…that reminds me…you guys might not believe me, but i assure you this is very true…
one night at 3am or so…there was a live stream of cutler and this fat black dude recording motivational work out songs…

Wouldn’t it be funny if Cutler could hit the high notes of an opera singer? And then we find out he’s gonna star in Phantom of the Opera… Just the mask and posing trunks…
