Doc
I had to lighten the original dark pic to see what was up with your delts.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen front delts bump upward like that (arms not up) when seen from a low point of view from the back.

Are you front delt dominant while doing chest work?

I think this thread needs to be merged with the I Hate Prof. X thread.

Okay, okay… back on topic!

This thread was a stressful read; however it was on par with most threads prof x transforms into arguments about himself. I’m getting tired of reading how great he is/how much he knows/how epic his development is.

Glad we are on par!

after reading the thread, what does “spill over” mean in terms of conditioning?

That makes par for the 3 of us.

Uh, yeah…I transformed it…I wasn’t responding to anyone else. I just wrecked it.

Move over Wesley Snipes.

My delts grow pretty easily. I am now focusing more on rear delts to balance it out (it may take a year or so). I do tons of incline work and over head presses (along with laterals) so it isn’t that they dominate my chest work. They just respond well to the training I do for them…plus I did spend a couple of years training my upper chest separately on a day on its own.

Like I said. I never took a pic of my back before so I am just now learning what I need to focus on as well.

I can say that apparently deadlifts are not needed.

You people argue about the most pointless things sometimes.

For instance, Meet Kevin Nee. Guess what? Chances are great his stomach isn’t less than flat because of insulin use even though he is nowhere near “fat”…yet I see newbs running around calling out bigger guys for that very thing for no reason.
Sadly, a lot of people on these forums would probably consider him morbidly obese. Losing your abs during a bulk is a major offense and all that.

I was just reading something that made me think of a friend, he’s about two apples tall and used to weigh around 260-270lbs, that’s a lot of weight for a midget (I suck at guessing people’s heights but he’s something like 5’3", maybe a tadd taller). He was fat, he was also strong as hell. Lately, he’s dieted down to 10% bodyfat, looks incredible and is still more than twice as strong as the average forumposter. Funny what people are capable of when they stop giving a fuck about abs and focus entirely on getting bigger and stronger for a decade or two.

But that’s more than a little OT and got nothing to do with anything here. I just have bulking on my mind and people seem terrified to go above 15% BF, my mind started wandering, sorry about that.

In other news, while it’s not completely fucked up to say Phil is better than Ronnie (because well, you know, that’s just, like, your opinion, man), it’s definitely lame to throw up a picture of Ronnie well past his aesthetic prime as proof for that assertion.
That’s probably my favorite version of Ronnie, he just looks great there. In my opinion that just might be the best physique that’s ever been on a stage. I really like Phil and while he does have some parts that are better than Ronnie’s, I still say Ronnie would destroy him if they stood next to eachother. Ronnie’s much wider, got bigger lats, wider pecs. Phil’s pecs would look like CDs next to Ronnie’s LP records.

Cutler is too blocky looking for my taste, and too boring.

I enjoyed this interview until he asked him about steroids. Instead of saying he uses he blames creatine lol!

I have never seen someone start a sentence with, “it was a funny story…” with NO expression on their face.

This dude is a dead log on camera.

Also, his response to that question was just fine. he shouldn’t have been asked the question in the first place, but he handled it well. If someone is blaming his size on steroids alone (like many do) they are wrong.

Jay is likable enough even though he is bland but my lord does that movie sound awful lol.

I agree he shouldn’t have been asked the question, and I understand his sponsors don’t want him stating that he uses them. But common, blaming being his size on creatine, tribulus and other “designer” supplements is just misleading. Maybe he could have gone more into more detail about how genetics and hard work play a factor?

But hey I guess if he poped the question out of the blue it would be pretty hard to answer.

Some good quips in this radio interview: http://www.edge.ca/DJsandShows/TheDeanBlundellShow/Main.aspx

Starts with 11:40 left.

Edit: Interviewer talks about “jerk off douche bag muscleheads in the gym” -lol

I don’t understand this type of thinking. The man should admit to potential illegal activities on national tv just so you get to hear him say it? This guy was HUGE in high school, so no, blaming his size on steroids is completely incorrect. The interviewer needs to be kicked in the head for relating this to baseball.

I never said he should admit to on national television… I said saying SUPPLEMENTS got him to that size is misleading, I even went about what he could have done differently without admitting to steroid use AND agreed he shouldn’t have been asked the question.

I think jay comes across as so bland/boring because he’s so relaxed (on the verge of sleeping! lol) all the time.
