Hate the guy for his body and posing (fine).He is a very nice and cool guy in person. He goes out of his way all the time for fans. Have seen him do it time and time again.

I don’t understand why Branch is so hated on this forum for his proportions, and so little smack is talked about Wolf. Branch, agreed quite blocky and square when compared to the aesthetics of Kai, or Phil, but compared to Wolf? Dude is missing an entire muscle group, I find that far less aesthetic and symmetrical and glaring than Branch. I’ve read on hear that you don’t need calves to win the Olympia, but I can’t fathom how in a sport where proportion, mass and development are supposed to be the criteria, this is the case.

I don’t hate either of them. I’m just making an accertation about bodybuilding judging that I don’t understand. I don’t hate Wolf, I just don’t understand why he’s even comparable to dudes with far more even development. The I hate Branch thread seems an appropriate place to discus relative aesthetics, as it seems that is where the reasonable hatred of this man comes from. Perhaps I’m ignorant too how much people hate on his attitude, or perhaps I don’t care, to me all that internet video stuff is marketing, he’s gotta sell his image, and I don’t hate people for that. But, real rap, no calves, yet better than Branch? Clearly Branch has all his visible muscle groups developed, is that not the point?

Love his work ethic, dislike his training methods (injury prone) and his overall look, amazing as it is. just not pleasing to the eye.
