Doing a show was much more difficult than I thought it would be. The diet just sucks!!! I think i was worth it in the end. I’m 100% natural here. Seeing that this forum is usually pretty honest, I’d like to hear your thoughts. Funny ones too!

Plan on posting more pics, or just the rear, lat-spread?
From that picture, it doesn’t look like you did anything hard.
You got low bodyfat, but you need to get alot thicker muscle-wise.

yeah, yeah…
I wish that this forum didn’t distort the picture size. If you right click on the image and view it the resolution will be better. but not amazing.
A note to TMag web developers. there are plenty of image libraries for resizing…check them out.

where’s your pics outlaw?
I’m not say that I changed the face of bodybuilding, I’m just saying it was hard for me.

i was pretty stoked to see a christmas tree!
Unless you’ve lift for A LOT of years or using gear that “thickness” is rare.

I don’t need to post pictures of myself to criticize someone posting in the RATE MY PHYSIQUE forum. You entered a bodybuilding contest. You have no appreciable amount of muscle.
The best part of your post is you claiming that you are all natural…ha ha ha. It certainly doesn’t take steroids to look like Lance Armstrong. You should focus more on free-weights rather than pilates.
Also, you said you wanted honest opinions. Don’t be a little girl.
You may have worked hard to diet for the show, youngblood, but you simply jumped onto stage TOO TOO TOO SOON.
It takes YEARS and some solid off season bulk-up (yes, I said it) to gain the thickness and development before you begin to strip the fat you added en route and then drop the water and step on stage (oh and lose a decent amount of LBM too).
Whats your height, your contest weight and off season weight?
YOU look like you work out and lift hard. you need calves and some solid work on quad sweep (tho a good quad sweep is usually genetic). YOu have some degree of muscularity but simply lack mass. You clearly deadlift but need more back width and…well, you need mass all over.
In your offseason you probably look like you work out and that first photo would have been a bit better if you had dropped the water from your back.

No offense, and I don’t know if you have, but try dieting for a show. I’m doing it right now for my first one, and you are talking out ur ass with a statement like that.
To the OP, congrats, but build those legs up.

How old are you, what are your numbers, do you know what it’s like to do a show, where are your pictures, why do you insist on flaming someone so harshly who apparently shows he has an extreme amount of dedication to bettering himself physically?

Maybe for the heavy weight division. I would have been laughed off the stage. I finished second out of the 10 so i guess the judges didn’t think it was too too soon. your comments about the water are noted. I was pretty depleated. looks bad cause my hands are pulling my skin too much. I noticed that too.
My calves and legs need work. Absolutely correct! (guess I’m part of the 75% of people on stage) finally, someone has something constructive to say.
I was curious how old you were also, like someone above asked. You are pretty lean, but ya you need to put some more size on mate. I compete myself and yes the diet sucks, but its fun being able to actually control something in this crazy world don’t you think ? ![]()
Decent. Calves, thighs, traps, lats, and chest need the most work. I’d say with 20 or 25 lbs more muscle, you’d look pretty great. Arms look pretty good, and shoulders are looking good. Looking lean. Plus, nice job on getting out there and competing. I disagree with others who have said you moved too soon on the competition. Hell, it’s only the first. I’m sure you learned a lot. Next time you’ll be even better, right?
I’m 26. Just a youngster.

Dude, OUTLAW has a point. OP is in here, wanting us to rate him. That is what outlaw did. Who cares about his age, lifts, his opinion on how it is like to do a show, his pictures. Seriously, I can almost guarantee outlaw doesn’t give two shits about what the OP has been doing. He came to this forum looking for our an opinion and he gave him his.
Although he was probably looking for something better, he still said what he thought which was that it didn’t look like brethal did anything. From that statement I think he means it doesnt look like he trained hard at all. I don’t care how hard it is to diet down like that, but honestly If I tried my hardest for 4years studying law and got 23% average would you still give me props for trying and doing my work because it was hard? No. You’d say I did a shitty job. A
Anyways,
continue to work hard OP. Get your cals up, work hard at the gym, get bigger!

He asked for criticism, I gave it to him. It’s great that he has dedication, but so do girls playing on a softball team.
As for me (even though I don’t have to tell you shit about me), I’m well over the “sour grapes” mark with low bodyfat. Do I feel the need to compete right now even though my body isn’t stage quality just so I can tell everyone that I’m a bodybuilder? …No
Since you want to bring me into the picture, I’m going to bring you into the picture. From the looks of your pictures, you’re in way over your head there buddy. You’re complaining about dieting when you had very little muscle to begin with. Congratulations on “doing a show” !!!~* You have the most dedication I have ever seen. You, along with the OP, might have a chance in a real show if you sew yourselves together. Good job man! You guys are both extremely dedicated! Hopefully, the judges will see how dedicated you are and give you first prize!

Bingo.
2nd out of 10? No offense but the competition cannot have been that great, from your back picture I can see no traps at all, very small neck, no delts and no calves.
You just look quite toned in places mostly the upper arms, I see no real size anywhere.
Good on you for working hard and doing a comp mate, fair play, I have to admit I am jealous of your six pack ![]()
You are very small for 26. If you actually want to compete in real show…you are running out of your best mass building years.
eat and lift for 4+ years.
Then struggle your way to low bodyfat again.
You shouldn’t be competing, it lowers the standards of bodybuilding.
Sorry. And yes yes I know, I’m just a jealous hating internet prick.
