The Gym is for Work. (Rant)

man what am i doing wrong, nobody dares talk to me at the gym, i must have a “Don’t fuck with me” aura about me. haha[/quote]

Thats me too. Ive been working out at my present gym 4-5 days a week for a year now, and I can count on one hand the number of people who have come up and talked to me. The obligatory “trainer that knows EVERYONE” told my friend the other day he has no idea who I am. Sometimes I wonder if I wreak of rotting salmon or something, but then I realize whatever it is, its a good thing because I can work out in peace.

Back to OP’s comments, most stuff in the gym doesnt bother me. However, when both squat racks are taken up by guys doing curls or upright rows, and I need to do front squat it kind of grinds my gears.

that’s why i train at home. nobody to piss me off, and the only dumbass to annoy me is me.

Set your own goals and reach for your own progress. Many in the world are training harder then us and many are training… well training isn’t even the right word for some. But you keep your own logs with your own goals and strive to be the best you can be from one workout to the next. You are your biggest obstacle not those surrounding you. I know after I do those all out sets my focus and sight aren’t on anyone else.
