For everyone on here feeling pathetic I don’t think that was the purpose of the forum. Pathetic is relative to what your comparing to anyway. 425x10 is a good squat for 99% of the people around. The other 1% is world class lifters. TYPE2B a 315 front squat is good for 17 year olds.
Good luck finding another teenager who trains front squats in the first place. To UpChucker kudos on working your way back up in the squat rack. It takes some bull-nuts to get back in there after a leg injury and yours was particularly brutal to watch.
I way a JACKED 172 (sarcasm) and am actually attempting a 600 DL with just a belt this week…should i wait till after my attempt then brag if i get it?
…If you can actually do that, you’d pretty much break the current Oregon deadlift record for LESS the bodyweight. From what I heard, the guy pulled 600 at 198 raw… Good luck you strong mofo.
Not sure what federation you’re talking about so you may be right in his case.
But this is a crazy lift for a 198lb’r from Oregon

I know that dude, I used to see him lift at my college gym. Very strong dude.
Was wondering if T-Nation had any beavers; That’s the way I know him as well. Very down to earth guy, and very technical on all his lifts. I would’ve never believed he weighed in at 198.
The awesome thing about that is that only 1 out of 10,000 people have the genetic capacity to be able to do such feat.
What?
That’s fucking bullshit.
Tell that to Charles Poliquin. It’s his quote here in T-Nation.
Charles, that’s fucking bullshit.
Why don’t you say it in his face at the author’s locker room?
Is he active here in T-Nation?
If so, why don’t you say it in his face? After all, he’s nothing. He only trained 20+ types of athletes worldwide (including olympians) so yeah, he’s full of shit and doesn’t know what he’s talking about.
His accomplishments are nothing really. One of his shot putters can only power clean 500+ pounds so he must be a terrible coach.
You can probably do a way better job than him. I’m sure… Cause, you know, you’re smart are you’re very nice.
(BTW, if you haven’t gotten the message, I’m being sarcastic.)
I pulled 450 for 8 reps yesterday and then pulled 500lbs after that for a single (some guy said I couldn’t do it, so I had to prove him wrong lol). That was all with a belt.
My brag: 38 yrs of age never stopped lifting, but recently have been working to get my numbers on the big three up up to respectable (for me) numbers again. I have squatted and deadlifted higher numbers in the past, but my bench (my weak link) is strongest it’s been.
Bench raw bodybuilder style back flat on bench. 315 x 1
Incline Barbell 275 x 3
Dumbbell Bench press flat 110’s x 10
Squat deep in the hole 365 x 3 burn out with 225 x 20
Deadlift 405 x 3
Bodyweight of 200 to 205 fluctuation.
My legs have always been my strong point and my bench the hardest to bring up for me.
i’ve done a 530 box squat with just a belt @ a body weight of 223. after dieting down to 185, i still managed an 800 pound rack pull from the knees (straps of course!!) and squated 450x8 as well @ 185 w/ wraps and a belt.
I got a few. Not a lot of weight to other people, but I finally got 315 x 5 on back squat today, 195 x 5 on bench and a 235 clean (all are in pounds). Time to get to at least mediocre lifts.

Nice deadlifts CrewPierce. Is this thread really about to turn into an argument over a Charles Poliquin quote?
Blame it to Hanley. The guy’s an asshole.
Please keep bragging. You have a TON to brag about. Your lifts are great dude.
Was that directed to me? Pretty much all of my impressive lifts and accomplishments have been posted.
