NASA TEEN WISC DEALDIFT RECORDS FOR 181, and 198: 500, 505.
425@16 right now.
I have until 19 to break both of these. I want it by 17.
NASA is all single ply, correct?
This will be updated when my name is in the record book.

lol seriously?
thats money in the bank man you mine as well already have the trophy. 80lbs on your deadlift in 3 years? You could get to 505+ in under a year pretty easily if you specialize in the deadlift.
No problem. You’ll have this in no time.

That right there is very impressive for your age regardless of your size. At that age my goal was to curl and bench LOL
A word of advice from a 19 y/o that has pulled 5 plates:
Keep your feet planted and your head out of the clouds.
80 lbs looks easy when you’re making 10 lb PR in your first few weeks.
The LAST ten pounds is what’ll test your courage and the quality of your planning.
I had the same DL at 16 at 180 lbs BW trying to pull a teen record. It took me all of three years to go 3/4/5 in the big three, too late to compete for a record.
Stay humble, lift hard, and PLAN for managing plateaus.
Good luck.
Good luck Zep, I know you’ve been making great progress as of late. Just stay focused on your goals.
What is the record for the 220’s? As your DL goes up, you may find yourself in a new weight class. Not necessarily a bad thing.
220 is 451 LOL. I should just have a packpack full of bricks on when I compete.

Thanks man, I’ll keep all of this in mind.
i fail to see the point of this thread. just write it down in your training journal, or if you want to stay online, in a log. This is a colossal waste of a thread. Keep pulling, and stay modest. Having a record is not permission to brag.

Chill man.
Zeph - your profile lists your BF “too much”, do you intend to cut down to maintain your class?

This is really great advice for everyone, no matter what your age.
Nothing’s guaranteed in this game.
Zep: That said, I think you can do it within a year if you stay healthy and get after it. Work those abs hard. That’s my advice.
Best…

I plan on staying around 200 pounds. Much heavier then that and I might not be able to cut the weight.
505 is a record for 19? I’m at 570 and still 19, you got it easy man…

Thanks man!
That’s the record? Nice.
In the USAPL record books, 500 is the record for a FIFTEEN year old at under 181… something I had the capability to beat, but I couldn’t get out to a USAPL meet (to make it official) because the american football season started. Shame.
NASA is single ply
Does single ply matter much for deadlift?
