The Brotherhood of Iron 1.0

Scream, spit, yell, slap the guido that hitches his reps and bounces the bar across the face and fuck his mom, do whatever enables you to get into that “no pain” zone and move that fucking weight. Great lift Brauny. By the sound of the music blasting, I’m willing to bet his gym gave him the green light to act that way. Come on people more PRs. You too Beans

No, it could be curls OR bench, duuuhhhh. [/quote]

Nothing like a screamer curling 40lbers. I love “Lets get jacked” mating call/movement most d-bags do when unracking a loaded BB on the flat bench.

haha, I grunt and scream when I get to heavy deadlifts and squats becuase it just puts me in another zone, It shuts everything else out so I can focus on getting as many reps possible.

Sorry if its a little obnoxious.

Personally I’m not a loud lifter, I only grunt/yell occasionally at the last 1-3 reps of a really rough set of a compound exercise…but I don’t give a fuck about others making noise, as long as they’re lifting somewhat respectable weight, and actually being serious about lifting.

You wanted a PR, here ya go then.

BB Shrugs: 425x20

Push Presses: 245x2 (my shoulders are weak as a kitten, but making progress…last time I did these was 225x2 I believe. )

Gay crossfit workout for PT today. Maybe at least will help with getting soreness out for tomorrow’s lifting. I personally don’t yell while lifting, but a little Grunt here and there on Deads/ presses/squats or rows never hurt anyone if you are pushing your balls to the wall with heavy weight. Keep up the good work fellas. I will report back tomorrow with my session.

Crossfit is teh ghey. Tho I’d rather do that than the stupid 5+ mile runs. Those are stupid ghey.

Bench day I was a little pressed for time.
315 3x8
Cable rows
incline flies
lat pull downs
2 board flat bench 3X8 pause reps for speed at 275

I have another couple of weeks of fooling around and then I’ll get back to lifting serious.

God damn hoosogow, strong. Where at in Texas are you?

Awesome, good job H4M. Thats some kitten mate. None yet for me. Come on motherfuckers. Lets get another big number.

Dead-lifts

265x12

bb row:

165x10

cable row:

160x12(okay form)

that’s the highlights of my workout. Also did pull-ups and lat pull-down.

Ya I slap around that 315 3x8 fooling around too, and then I wake up. Strong shit dude can’t wait to see you “serious.”

Agreed, and you’re looking pretty sexeh there yourself man

Okay, maybe I misphrased the fooling around (but thanks anyway). What I mean is that I’m going in with no plan. I’m just lifting what I want to lift for a few more weeks before I get serious again.

I’m just north of San Antonio.

Oh ok.

Damn.

I’m in Austin (at UT), so if you’re ever in town and wanna catch a session, let me know.

Edit: Thanks beans. I’m about 227/228 right now. I’ll be thrilled to have 230+ morning weight before I leave for Japan in late March. Pesky arms haha.

Legz

Worked up to a 150kgx3 squat, trying to go as fast as possible, then did 110x15.

Sumo Deads
Worked up to 190kgx3 then 160kgx6.

First time working these, think we’ve got a keeper.

DB Leg Curls

Worked up to 30kgx8

Dragon Flags
12,10,8

DC Leg Press Calf Extensions
80x15 reps, 4.30 minutes.

ME Squat/DL

  1. Below Parallel Box Squat, Shoulder Width Stance - worked up to 465lbs 2x1
  2. Reverse Hyper - 270x8, 290x10, 320x10,10
  3. GHR 3x10 25lbs
  4. Sidebends 3x8 160lbs

I’m soooooooo rusty and you could tell I am a gear whore because the box squatting was humbling. The two singles didn’t feel heavy, but coming out of the slow was pretty straining. About midway through the squats, I came up like as if it was dynamic work, so you can tell it’s a while. Doing Reverse Hypers to GHR’s is a terrible idea, holy back pump from hell. I had to lie down on the floor for a few mintues after the GHR’s because my back was cramping like no other.

Finally hit a 335 bench today.

Also 365x11 BB rows, 1 rep more than last time…making progress.

Lower body
RDL
135 x 4
185 x 4
225 x 4
275 x 4
315 x 4
365 x 4

Front Squat
135 x 6
155 x 4
185 x 2
205 x 2
225 x 2/2/2/2

6 x 50 yd sprints

Leg extensions
100 x 20
130 x 20
170 x 20
200 x 20

calf work.

Liked the doubles for front squats, going to move those to my first movement and see where I can get with them.

Squat day - finally my hips seem to be healing

3X7 405 with minimum pain no briefs
3/4 leg press for quads
ham curls
calf raises
I’ll do hip work later this week.

6 plates +25lbs for like 6 or 7 on T-Bars was all that was worth reporting.

I continue my quest to work on da evil forms… Strict for teh first few and then some english and leg drive when it gets heavy…
