Test & Tren for Over a Year, BBer Look?

What’s up with your gym?

Are there any bodybuilder lookin’ dudes there?

This tells me that you are relying too much on gear for your gains.

Generally, it seems that strength is needed more for size the closer you get to natty. You don’t see natty guys that are developed that are weak. You do see some guys on a lot of gear that are big and not very strong.

By calculating your 365lbs at 2 reps, can you get 295lbs for 10 reps?

Flex Wheeler is 5’9 at 240 here…

I think 220-225 while at your current lean-ness would be far more reasonable tbh

Correct

How many day a week do you like to train?

At least 2 days a week should be dedicated to legs and abs. For now one heavy day (doing 5 to 10 reps on squats; and 10 rep leg presses) and one light day (doing 15 to 20 reps on squats; and 10 to 20 reps on leg press.) For now leave some in the tank on light leg days.

We have no idea what your back looks like. But you should strive to get back muscles look like they belong side those delts and traps.

Some others might suggest some specific programs. Most will work as a good starting place

Let me offer the OP a lesson that I got at my first bodybuilding contest (1970):

Before the contest (no pre-judging, and the contest started after the powerlifting meet, about 11:00pm. No weight classes), the judges got all of us together in a room. The head judge started with, “We know you wouldn’t be here if you didn’t have good chest, shoulders, and arm. We’ll be looking at legs, back, and ab development.” To my dismay, I had done very little leg work apart from leg extensions and leg curls on very primitive machines. I came in dead last out of 15 competitors.

I love that story!

I also think a lot of guys underestimate what getting strong on the deadlift will do for their back and traps. Squats too develope more than just the legs.

When I started doing these movements, my whole body got thickness I didn’t have before. Stuff like chins with weight I also think have made a good difference.

Well… When i started those movements, nothing changed for me tho

I’ve also grown more weary of this dogma. I love squats and DLs but all they got me was lower training frequency as I just could not recover from progressively overloading these lifts which meant less time to develop other muscles and legs that do not fit any pants and are over proportional to my upper body.

So yes, my legs grew but at the cost of everything else. I’m going down the nearly only upper body training route now to balance the physique out.

I’m also not so sure anymore that squats and DLs are necessary for leg development. They are great for posterior chain muscles but for pure BBing purposes they are missing a great deal of direct anterior chain work.

They are great for strength and power though. My vertical improved significantly because of progressing on squats.

I believe @lordgains has made a valid point to keep in mind. Whereas I believe the squat is a greatest thigh developer, if you don’t know how to squat efficiently you just won’t be able to handle enough weight to highly involve the quads, in that your back will fail long before your quads. I was in that situation for my first 2 decades lifting.

In those 2 decades I was able to target quads with a compound movement with the leg press machine moving very heavy weight. Get as much range of motion without your hips rising from the back of the seat, keeping your back arched as much as you can. To get more range of motion you might need to allow your thighs to descend beside your torso. Your back is almost completely a nonfactor to fatigue.

Keep working on your squat form (if it’s not great), prioritizing the leg press with maximum effort.

It depends a lot on squat variation (low, high, front) which muscles get hit most. For quads I’d choose front squats.

But I’m not squatting heavy for a while. My legs just grow way to quick. That’s why I stopped DL two years ago, my hammies just exploded but the DOMS were brutal. I don’t need leg growth atm.

IMO, clearly this is not the OP’s luxury. He looks more like my genetic start in thigh size. He needs to work hard to get growth into his lower body.
