I’d like to see nutrition articles run more often, dining in hell doesn’t count.
For the record, I really, really like it here. ![]()

Maybe I’m a voice crying out in the wilderness but the site is pretty damn good the way it is.
If there was one thing I’d like to see more of, it’s T conferences held from time to time in various parts of the U.S. and Canada. I’ve mentioned this to Chris and TC privately and I understand it would be a huge amount of work but shootfire, that don’t mean I don’t want ‘em. I coulda asked for a pony. I mean we are sittin’ on Santa’s knee on this thread, right?
I am with push on this idea (and on the delightful photo accompaniment… well done, well done). Having been to the DC Seminar and enjoying myself immensely, I would like to see more of these kinds of things.
While the presentations were great, the best part was having the chance to hang out with people I have only known via forum posts and PMs. I just wish I had gotten the chance to train with some of the guys too, but it was great to meet NateDogg and Boston Barrister and so on. There are a bunch more guys I would love to hang out with (several of whom are chiming in on this thread).

My own bias here, a few sports specific articles (just to guage how athletes prepare for their specific sports) would be nice and finally sports psychology contributers would be awesome
In addition to sports psychology, how about some info on the psychology of weight loss, particularly as regards fat loss.
Someone suggested Oly lifting. These are highly technical lifts. I would love to see a breakdown on the best way to learn these lifts.
more mma/boxing specific training articles by top trainers, someone mention a detailed gflux program i second that, maybe getting poliquin to do a q+a on all his recomendations.

I’ll echo more from Tim Patterson and Cy Willson (is he still around?). I love the science around what goes on in our bodies at a cellular level when speaking of diet and supplementation.
I second the Cy Wilson comment. The biochemistry involved with supplements/bodybuilding is very interesting.
I’d like to see more from John Berardi and Dave Tate…
I’d also like to see T-Nation stick to it’s declaration…
“where men are free to be men. It?s where the noble aspects of Testosterone rule.”
i am a personal trainer at the department I work for, I frequently come to this site to remind me not to become complacent. the research, articles, and vast amount of knowledge far out ways the occasional person dissing because they need to feel better about themselves. I agree this is a forum that should stay free. I can’t say enough how good the articles and the authors are. thanks T-Nation.
Take a few of the most popular yet different styles of training ie; 5x5 (Bill Starr style), HIT, Full-Body, Splits etc. and see if we can find a few people to give each a 12 week go at them, one at a time and see what results they get.
Also compare identical training styles with two athletes. 12 weeks with 300 calories above maintanence level and 12 weeks 1,200 above maintanence and have both trainers do each level. See what kind of strength improvements are made and see what kinds of mass gains are made/not made.
It wont solve anything concretely, but it’d be an interesting experiment that we could all learn from. Maybe they could recieve free supps. for the duration of the experiment as payment.
More Hartman, More Poliquin and More Cressey ![]()
