Article Subjects You'd Request

I was thinking about what articles I was hoping that the site would run and I am sure there are other folks around here who also have a wishlist for articles. TC and the guys do a good job of trying to keep things rotated so they aren’t covering the same subjects over and over, but there are some things that I would like to read.

  • A new Pre-Hab article.

  • A “day in the life” article with an up and coming BBer or figure competitor

  • An interview with a retired Golden Age BBer such as Frank Zane or holey moley Rachel McLish or Cory Everson

  • An article that looks back on theories or programs that didn’t pan out and why,and what the new thoughts are for training. A “we tried it, but didn’t like it” type of article.

  • An article that reviews over the counter gadgets or even a nod to non-Biotest (non-competing products)

  • A food prep article. I hate to say it, but we see all those threads on “how do you prepare/package your foods”. If you could have a coach, or a competitor doe a step by step break down, that would be great.

  • If not Physique Clinic, how about a Biotest Challenge? Sure we are doing this anyways, but how about a challenge whereby you give the members here 3-months on their own to make changes in relations to what the goals are. You could have Mass Gainer, Athletic competition, WeightLoss, and BB/Figure Competition. Winner gets a t-shirt and a tub of Surge.

  • I know you have FA (great site Olesya) but how about some more Rachel Cosgrove, or Olesya, or Jen Heath article? What is up with Gina and Jelena?

So those are my ideas.

Taking our article writers the throw them into the pit of navy seals basic training for a week. See how well our masters of training do.

Updates on shady things done in the supplement biz. Like if companies are still adding pro hormones to there new line of protien

Day in the life of(small switch) a PL FA and BB and how the differ in goals and ideas coming close to contest/meet time.

What professor x learned in 2008

Anything new from Cy Willson.

Would love to read more of Cy’s stuff. Him and Bill Roberts should write a book together.

OG, Shugart used to co-write (cant think of the other author off the top of my head) a series called “Stuff we like.” I think that’s similar to your " An article that reviews over the counter gadgets or even a nod to non-Biotest (non-competing products)" suggestion.

For the record, those articles are/were awesome. That gets another vote to bring that back.

A day in the life would be cool, too.

Generally imo:

Less: Shugart, Waterbury, Nate Green

More: CT, Poliquin, Cressey, Cy

I remember the “Stuff We Like” and they did something just a few months ago that was similar.

And you know there is that thread about PF/PC, this is the type of thing that I think might be in the decline. Like the “no carbs at night”.

And with the Day in the Life, it might be good to see how the average Joe and Jane works it all in, the gym, cooking, the food prep and all that. Especially if no one else in their family, or their spouse, follows their lifestyle. Cressey just mentioned how who you spend your time with affects your lifestyle.

The Seven Best Ways to Handle OG’s Boobs

And something from Lonnie Lowery

But mostly OGs boobs

=) The boobs are old news! We need new stuff.

Lonnie Lowery has been AWOL, that would be a nice come back.

and article about JChenky’s ass…a picture would suffice really.

how to stop being socially awkward and be able to make eye contact w/ girls.

I know Bill Roberts is a busy guy but having him write something new would always be good. I also can’t wait for the new CT stuff that’s supposed to be coming up.

Any article related to adding mass to the back is fine with me. I know there are a number of them already, but you can never have too many tools when it comes to building massive lats, rhomboids, etc.

Combining olympic weightlifting training with powerlifting, being a competitor at both.

Read the “westside for oly lifting” thread. FInd someone who knows a shitload about what was asked in that thread. Have him write articles like a machine.

I really like interview articles with bodybuilders. The Dorian Yates one is great!
I’d love to see more BBer interviews, past, current or up and coming. They’re always a fun read.

lol

Or how about he writes an article? gasp… an article that would actually help people…

Would like to see an interview or articles with Dave Tate’s sidekick Jim Wendler as well as more from Dave. Matt Rhodes would also be good.

Also x2 on a Frank Zane interview- he’s developed some fantastic stuff on the mental side of training and is encyclopedic on healing injuries and maintaining long term fitness.

An Olympic champ or someone like Lance Armstrong would be cool

One thrust – to failure! - BAM!

And those boobs are never old news.

The rest of you, though, that would be new news, and good news.

I’d like to see how the Womens Brazilian Beach Volley Ball team trains.

I always thought a Prof x article would be great.

The dude is one of the most popular posters around here that actually looks like he lifts.

So cmon TC get in contact with X and see if he wants to write a article.

Oh and more training tips-programs -anything to do with tall people 6’3 and over would be great.

an article for tall people!!! even a mini-article. CrewPierce is tall. I remember his issues during the Physique Clinic.
