What are the best supplements to get cut with? I run and swim my ass off, but not getting the results i want. Someone guide me in the right direction please.
Lifting weights?
A pad to record what you eat? Maybe a pen?
If you’re really interested, I suppose there’s a web store somewhere around here that may have what you’re looking for (hint: --------->).
If that fails, do a web seach for “HOT-ROX”. That’s usually some pretty good stuff.
If you do swim/run your ass off, it’s your diet. The word supplement means just that, it “supplements”.
Get on a good diet, results will come, when results stall, add supplements.
and HOT-ROX are good.
I once read that people that spend too much time in the pool tend to hold onto a little extra bodyfat to help keep your body warm in the water. You can get pretty lean and in great shape but your body will retain at least a thin layer of fat for protection.
What?
Then how are olympic swimmers shredded?

yeah, i don’t know how accurate that is either.
edit: not questioning your post, i shoulda quoted the other one. agreeing with you.
I could be more active on my diet and watch what i eat a little more. I just pound the protein and not really watch much else. My bad then. But HOT-ROX is really good then? I will look into it.

I swam in high school and college and was totally ripped. But i am about 20lbs more muscle now. So i am at a loss. I am loosing weight but not getting the cuts i want. I am going to revamp my diet totally today at the gym tho. Its gotta be my diet.
Get some Metabolic Drive, and replace a few meals with it.

It seems that was skipped over completely. One great way to STOP losing body fat is to overdo the cardio while putting little to no focus on keeping or even building some muscle mass.
I don’t even start dieting anymore with cardio. I wait until I see a drop from diet alone before I add it in at all. Your body is adaptive. It will also favor a loss in muscle mass over a loss in body fat if you start training like an endurance athlete getting ready for a marathon.
I like your avatar. Do you even lift weights at least 3x a week? It sounds like you only run and swim and that’s it. Muscles burn more calories, even when you’re not working out, so you’ll want to try to get more of them to lose your unwanted fat.
Look into the Anabolic Diet as well. I’ve gotten decent results from it.
Could be in a state of starvation which is why you’re not losing anymore. Hard to tell with out an idea of your diet.
Water is a pretty awesome fat loss supplement. You have to drink it though.

Yeah, but could we get an answer on whether he even lifts weights before anyone tells him what to eat or drink?

Agreed. the best fat loss activities I have used myself are ones that involve weights done in circuits as a for of interval training.
Training muscles to constantly adapt top new force production works far better than training them to do the same shit over and over (ie. running and swimming). After a certain point your body gets so effective at running and swimming that it quits having to use as much energy (lets say it’s fat) to get it done. So pick other shit to do besides running/swimming. the best place for variety is the weight room.
Pick any 3 compound lifts. pop your 10repmax on each one. do sets of 4-6 cycling each one for about 20 mins. this is good for fat loss I find.
That and don’t eat anything that isn’t green and didn’t have parents.

Oh yeah man, I lift my ass off five and six days a week. One muscle group per day. I work out about an hour to an hour in a half. Lots of super sets but nothing really the same every week. The gym i go to has a bunch of different variations of every machine in there. I mix up the order a lot as well. Just not getting cut like i want to. I am bigger than my pics show now. I will update soon.

Maybr try some more calorie consuming free weight movements. Work them into circuits and trade the running/swimming in for sprinting and interval training.

Free weights + HIIT + decent diet = fat loss.

I don’t know whether to laugh or feel bad for them. It’s pathetic to read what they’re saying.
