Interesting. The basic chinese marinade is garlic, ginger, light soy sauce, sesame oil and rice wine. Sometimes chili oil, sometimes scallion/green onion, sometimes black vinegar.
There’s not a whole lot of grilling though.
I think I’m going to have to pick up some gochujang and give that a try.

Some awesome Korean restaurants will have a grill at your table. But many things are also pan fried. But for me i prefer grilling flavor so I will turn everything into grilled or baked if I have to before pan frying. But those flavors are very good. I’m gonna starting messing doing a Korean Mexican fusion
Back workout today
Pull-up/dead stop smith row. 4x8/10
Pulldown medium neutral/DB pullover. 3x10/12
Cable shrug row/smith shrug behind the back. 3x12/15
Bicep. 2 double drop sets then 2 sets of incline curl.
Decent workout. The dead stop smith rows were worse than I figured. Much harder. Gonna keep throwing those into workouts. Gotta work that upper back more as well. Had the gf snag some quick progres pics with her camera. Not as lean but size I think has come along. Eating some amazing Indonesian slow cooker pork and chicken. Grilled a delicious Japanese based chicken. Damn good food
Back at marshfield. Neuro starting today. Not really looking forward to this one. It’s fun on paper but not with the patients. It’s just depressing.
Legs week 7
Squat 135, 225, 275, 315 x8. 345x7. 365x6, 5
Reverse band. X9, 8 knees and low back were rocked.
Leg curl/leg press high wide. 3x15/12
Lying leg curl. 1 double drop set then partials.
Hack squat. 2x15
Done. Decent workout. Squats felt ok until I was done could tell my legs were very unhappy. TFL hurt and low back was crushed. Knees sore too which is new. Need to stretch and mobility. Really fallen off. Legs were still sore from thus leg workout lol. Damn.
Diet is still whey during the am workout. And then food at 4-6 or so when I am done.
Some sleep last night. Yesterday I developed such an amazing crippling headache. Feels like a tension headache from my neck but it was horrible. Still wants to party today but isn’t as bad yet

Rear delts 7x15-25 spread out through the workout.
Machine fly. 3x12 then a drop set with a 30s stretch
Assisted dip deep wide stretch 2xmax
Lateral machine. 3 drop sets plus partials
Good workout. Ran out of time for Tri but maybe I can get in after. If not I’ll hit them tomorrow with back. Inpatient neuro for the week. We will see how that is. Could be ok
Well got to go on stroke code yesterday. Fun first day. Overall kinda depressing patients though. All stroke victims for the most part or other serious mental issues. Makes for some difficult interactions and watching the families isn’t fun

Decent workout. Have to get this done in 50 min counting a warmup. So gotta be moving a decent pace. Gotta be in to round on patients nice and early. Wonder what the day will have in store for me. Food has been good lately haven’t been too bad other than some rice Krispy bars and ice cream but a normal portion for once.
Thanks for the advice in my log…I think it helped me realize the bigger picture and that I’m doing myself a disservice by not at least going into maintenance for a little while.
Advice on how many carbs/fats to add per day/week and for how many weeks? I’m gong to run the cut another two weeks I think.

On call last night and tonight. Saw a cool patient yesterday ( cool for me not him) who is unable to read but can read the letters individually but just can’t put it all together. He can’t always read back even what he writes. I will follow him today as well and see if there is improvment. He also has an upper quadrant homonymous hemianopsia. (Sp?) don’t have time to see what happened there.

Yesterday found out mr alexia without agraphia also has color agnosia. He thought his yellow socks were red and a green sticker was yellow or orange. He had a quite large temporal-occipital stroke. He actually is doing great considering how large it is. No motor deficits or sensory. Just some processing issues. Also had a stroke code Woman had a hypertensive emergency. Bp was 220/90. She had some small vessel damage from that.

Chest this morning.
Machine press agaist monster mini short band. 5x8-12. 2 sets had partials at the end.
20* DB press/chain fly. 3x10/12
Machine neutral press extra stretch. 3x10
Machine fly. 2x12. 30 sec stretch at the end.
Lateral machine. 3x8-10 2 s peak hold. Lateral partial. 1x30. 1x25 drop 15
Rear delts 7x12-25 gotta hammer these. Some sets were sprinkled into chest
Tri. 2 Tri sets.
Done in 55 min. Hoping the day flies by. Weight had another jump to 219 while having a low day. Lol. My body. No idea what it’s doing. Gonna cook some good food this weekend and have some goodies. Seeing the gf.
Eating too much food but that is ok. Lemongrass Thai chicken is a new fav. Grilled that yesterday. My gf and mom both bake too well

Fun workout other than my low back feeling like it was gonna rupture. I hate it. I really have neglected mobility and it continues to add up. Over all happy with the rest of the work out. Need to continue to hammer mid back hard and thicken that up and help posture.
