Hello every one I am 17 and trying to get into strongman competitions. I have recently went on very strict diet for a teen bodybuilding competition and lost literally 100lbs of body fat. But, Just recently I have become very interested in strongman so much I have completely dropped my BB training and focus on powerlifting and the Oly Lifts only. But I know how to diet to lose wieght but, I have never dieted to gain wieght or muscle mass and, obviously you have eat a ton to compete in strongman but, I don’t want to get fat… so does anyone have any suggestions for me.

Wieght:190lbs(fairly good shape)
Hieght:5’6"
I train four times a week 3 days in gym 1 day on events.
Occupation:School 7:30am - 3:00pm
Eating to be a strongman is like eating to be any kind of athlete. Your diet should reflect that of a bodybuilder. Look at the stickies at the top for ideas. ESPECIALLY Are You A Beginner II.
It is a brilliant stickyboard relative to the others. Read through the nutrition, and just remember to try and eat 1g of protein per lb of body weight every day.
You sound like you are on the right track though. Just train like a Powerlifter, do overhead lifts and then work on your events.

As above get plenty of protein, and take some quality fish oil as your joints can take a pounding
