Strongman Nutrition

this post might belong in the nutrition section, but I want to build a very powerful and strong physique like the strongman competitors have. I am very new the nutrition aspect, and I am an intermediate lifter, with good genetics for a strong physique. I am endomorph, but I have a lot of noticable muscle mass at 205, around 18% bf. I noticed the strongman competitors are huge, and strong as oxen, but most of that probably comes from what they eat.

I am on starting strength, and Im training to get bigger and stronger for football. I know it takes years to get very big, but I want to put on size and strength, and if anyone knows about size and strength, its strongman competitors. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea as to how they eat. If anyone can help, it would be much appreciated, thanks.

How so?

I do appreciate that you used the appropriate “oxen”, but it comes from what they eat and the fact that they’ve been training consistently for years and years. Which is why, almost regardless of your current strength levels, I can’t see how it’s accurate to call yourself “an intermediate lifter” at 16 years old. No offense intended.

I thought you were trying to drop some fat just a few weeks ago?

This is an article where an author wrote about getting into Strongman training. He discusses his training and diet:

And yes, it was written in the year 2000. Again, no offense, but I kinda love that you were just learning to speak when this article was first put up on the website.
