I have the book, it’s pretty good, I still wind up referring to his old youtube videos, I haven’t paid for the mobility wod pro or whatever its called. All the banded traction/distraction stuff is gold.
Thanks for the info.
It is going to be weird to not “lift” for a month. But honestly I need it, I have some chronic pain right now.
It took me about 2 months of mobility work to open my hips to squat deep using his drills. Hope the focus on mobility helps clear up those nagging pains. Your strength will still be there when youre ready.

The past few years of working on Oly lifts has opened up my hips where I can comfortably deep squat now.
Now my big problem is hamstrings I believe that due to that immobility it is not helping my lower back. Plus my back just does better the lighter I am now, sucks but it is what it is.

Warm up, 500 meter row, dislocates, foam roll, lax ball work and stretching.
1 mile run
Doing a very strict diet for this month. So do not plan to do anything real heavy or really lift at all. More stretching running and working on Mobility. Bought the book Supple Leopard and read about half on Sunday, very eye opening.

I always chuckle quietly at the young turks who claim foam rolling don’t do nuthin’ -just you wait a few years young man…lol.
After training a gazillion clients and decades in the field, Chad Waterbury is entering a doctor of physical therapy program. (random bit of internet info)

When I slow down and start looking at my flexibility and form I have a lot of work to do. I am working on changing my mindset of getting a lift at all costs. I have to many injuries and I am tired of joint pain. So again this month refocus on losing weight (down 10 lbs since Sunday) and flexibility. Stay the course.
