Started a Powerlifting Club

I’ve just found this old video of me jumping on some mats, if i remember well is something like 58 inches? Anyway .

New deadlift video to follow, 575 + 50 pounds of chain . It was easy and i was really light! 188 pounds? i lost over 10 pounds this week only form training my pitbull , pushing the sled, and 4 trips of hicking!Stand strong.

Wow, big big news from the club, we will get a 10 minutes showcase at RDS ( The Sport Network in french) In one week day for day they’ll come to shoot some footage, i will do the interview. It will be about the sport and more oriented by the determination, the strain we face each workout.

Finally powerlifting is starting to get exposure and recognition here. I’m proud to participate in the renaissance of powerlifting here in quebec.

By the way, don’t the glasses bother you? I don’t know why but I’ve felt uncomfortable every time I’ve tried lifting in mine, maybe it’s just a personal quirk.

As for my glasses i can’t lift without them. It’s not that my vision is that low, more like a luck thing, i missed my first two squat attempts at my first meet without the glass, so now i don’t lift , even a dumbbell curl without them.

New pr from last night. i don’t know why but i pulled tonight again haha but this time i did some rack pulls. I started with one plates 1 sets og chains, 2 plates, 3 plates, 4 plates, 5 plates and goes on, it was sets of 6, 5 reps with 6, started triple, 7 then my pr 8 plates + 10 pounds, something like 820 at the top . It leaves with calluses so big that i can’t hold anything in my hands, who cares? it’s a fucking PR.

I compete a 181 but all year long i’M at 200-205, when i don’t mind the compete i drop to 198,but when it matters i drop to 181 in 3 weeks

I really have to watch my weight i tend to pack on it really fast. In december i was around 220 hahah

Hhaha actually my arms are smalls, my chest too, shoulders are cool, traps too, back is good tough haha , legs sucks but my lifts start to up a lot , so who cares how big i look? what matters is how the bar is bended.
