Well I’ve been posting here for a while, and decided it was time for a vid. I’ve posted my pics in the physique n performance and lol ltos of people didn’t believe my age. But all is cool now, everythings good. Here’s a squat vid. critique it…anything. I’m weighing around 188 now. And I’m finally back into lifting from my retarded fractured arm from submission wrestling.

Looks good, except the lockout didn’t play on the vid.
lol fuck…uh anyone know how I fix this…I completed the lift, I don’t know why it has done that. I can give a myspace link to the video if thats better??
Hope that works better.
Okay everyone…who cares bout the first post…click the LINK for the vid lol. Thanks.
Looked pretty unstable to me. Your knees are all over the place.
Naw man, if you look again my right knee was completey stable and didn’t move at all. My left knee did go inward and then back outward. Pretty much just a little mistake, I didn’'t spread the floor as much as I usually do. Sooo pretty much I just have to push out harder with my left knee next time. That’s all.
Looks alright ,just need to force those knees out, have you thought about a wider stance?

If you want someone to critque your video, it’s best not to reply to their advice with “Naw man”.

A wider stance will likely make it worse.
The knee coming in is obviously not optimal but nothing to make a federal case over. He was at a near limit lift. Things don’t always look perfect when you get close to your limit.
Pretty solid set-up and nice depth. The only thing I would suggest is slowing it down a little out of the rack.
keep the knees out. everything else looks pretty good from what I can see. Perhaps control descent a bit more and don’t ‘bounce’ out of the hole.

That is true. It was simply a mistake though lol, i probably shoulda pointed it out in a different manner. but yeah.

That’s better. I was going to say that static hold at the top must have killed your legs.
Looked great to me, especially for being a near-max lift.
I’m not one who should be critiquing squat form, since I still have a lot of work to do with mine, but I thought the video was impressive.
How much weight was it?

Nice lift. I thought the knees were a bit everywhere too. I watched like 5 times and am certain that the right knee comes into the light and it makes it look wobbly, but the knees were still a bit unstable. Not bad, just a bit.
for what its worth agree with the above the knees both come in fix that and your golden.
Phill
yea… work on the knee thing. thats something i VERY much struggle with too… but overall it was good.

It’s 430. I know I can do 440. Soon enough I’ll be posting a vid of 460-470. I’ll also be lookin for a powerlifting comp. most likely…(thats my goal) for the 16-17 age group. Just deciding whether to be 198 or 181…cause I’m 188 right now. I think I’ll go with 198, cause the extra weight could help my squat some more.
