Hey guys-

I’ve been training since I was 14, first three years I was a bench specialist and ate way too much, so I ballooned up to 240. Senior year of high school I dropped about 70 lbs, and now I’m back up another 20 lbs from where I was.

Lifts are decent:
Bench: 345lb touch and go raw
Dead: 530lb
Squat: 420lbs(probably higher now)
Other impressive lifts:
4x8xBW+135 on dips

Completely natural, try to eat as much protein as possible and good carbs, supps are creatine, beta alanine, bcaa’s, protein, and waxy maize. If you need anything else, just ask!

Wow, solid physique, good photos, impressive lifts.

The only true weakness I see is your swayback in your second to last photo (side shot). This would indicate tight hip flexors and spinal erectors, coupled with inhibited abs and glutes. Then again, I dont think its the weakness of the abs/glutes that is your problem … try some hip mobility work and this may help.

In any case, I digress. Excellent work again!

Hey man, thanks! What hip mobility stuff would you suggest? I hurt my hip flexor awhile back on the Smolov squat program, and since then my hips have been pretty dang tight. I do lunges and static stretches to help with it. If it helps I used to sprint a fair amount, and still do a couple times a week. Is this the same thing as anterior pelvic tilt?

Here’s an article that has some good hip mobility work explained.

BTW, those anterior delts are out of control. Nice work.

I have a hard time believing your numbers, no offense. Post a video to prove me wrong if you want. Btw, your rear delts are fantastic.

I’ll take you up on a bet.

Only thing that could possibly be inflated… IMO… is DL’s…

But seriously, look at his back and delts… ridiculous. Reminds me of a friend of mine, huge delts, wide back, huge triceps… no biceps (N/O OP, biceps need improvement)

I’d be highly surprised if he was inflating any of his numbers

Thanks man! I will def check that out.

lol at those numbers being inflated for a guy that size. Calling him out on them is pretty much an admission that you’ve never trained at a proper gym because those are not unusual numbers for someone of his proportions. Have a look on youtube and you’ll find plenty of videos of smaller guys putting up more weight.

His deadlift doesn’t seem inflated either. In fact a 420 squat and 530 deadlift is proportionality a bit low for someone who benches 345 but he has already admitted to being a bench specialist in the past.

I can find a video of my 500 lb dead if you want, I think I have that somewhere. If not I’m in the middle of Coan-Phillipi and tomorrow I’m scheduled for a 485x2, so I can get that if you want as well. I’m not due for maxing for awhile, but I’ll try to get some of my training videos. 315x2 sound good for bench? Next week squat is 2x6x335 if you want to see that one I can get that as well. Thanks for the rear delt comment!

Thanks man, I still have a lot of work to do, my biceps are strong but need a lot of work. You can tell I hate training them, eh?

Yea I feel bad admitting that =(

edit: I should also get my BF under control, but gaining muscle isn’t exactly a cake-walk

LOL, you hate training biceps?? Regardless, it gives you a powerlifter-looking physique IMO… broad shoulders, huge delts, smaller biceps and smaller forearms. Hit biceps and forearms hard and you should be lookin really good 9no homo0

6’1 is hard to fill out, but once you blow up, your gonna be one very impressive guy. great rear delts.

what are your mesurements?

great delts man, really inspiring. if I had to pick something to work on, I’d say maybe you could improve your chest a little. Given your bench that’s probably just the photos though

“Is this the same thing as anterior pelvic tilt?”

Yes, they are the same thing. Lunges and static stretching of the hip flexors is good. Leg swings (foreward/backward and abducting/adducting) are good for the mobility, followed by stretching. This has helped me with my squats especially. Good luck!

I always figured my forearms would catch up with heavy deads, maybe not =(
