Squat Injury - Possible Sports Hernia

Hurt myself today. I’m pretty sure it’s a sports hernia. Anybody had one of these?

My brother had one. I’ve heard that the recovery is roughly 4 weeks off time, depending on the type of surgery. Don’t quote me, though.

Get it looked at and dealt with as soon as you can. The sooner you do, the sooner you can get back to lifting heavy shit.

Never had one, but take care of yourself, and good luck!

It can be caused by several different combinations of torn fascia, tendons, or muscles in the groin area. Apparently it is characterized by dilation of the superficial inguinal ring. I don’t know exactely what that means, but it makes your balls hurt. lol

ahh goodpoint, all you had to say was painful balls hah. But on a serious note get it checked out and get back under that bar as soon as possible.

I have had a couple serious groin injuries during football.

I never let it rest enough before I started pushing it again.

Give it rest, ice, anti-inflammartoy, and get a doctor to look at it.

Walking the wrong way could be detrimental at this point.
