Is there really that much of a difference between a sled and prowler? Is there really that much of a difference between a push/pull sled and prowler? Between those three, what would you get if you were going to use it on both grass and concrete?
Yes, there’s definitely a difference. It’s difficult to explain what it is, but a prowler is definitely a much better option if you’re able to get one. It’s just a different animal altogether.
I am looking at a push/pull sled like the Rogue dog sled (two rails) vs. a prowler like the EliteFTS prowler (three points of contact). They seem fairly identical but I have never played sports nor have I ever used a prowler or sled, so I figured I would turn to you guys.
Oh well in that case, it probably doesn’t make much of a difference. Either one of those is great.
Training wise it doesn’t matter.
It is a question of cost and convenience.
Yes, there is a difference as explained in the new book. I wouldn’t use the Prowler on grass - the sled can be used on grass.
Training wise is does matter. One is not “better” than the other; they are different beasts. I use my Prowler much more than my sled; but if I only had a sled, I’d make sure it can hold a shit ton of weight (8 or more 45lbs plates).
Damn, you’re right. Pg. 246-249. My bad
