This is a valid thought. My left shoulder is still cranky from the 2-3 weeks I played with Dan Johnās Clean and Press workout. Nothing hurt while I trained but it started to hurt on other things.
The log cleans are deff what makes it sore but the injury was from me catching my motorbike when it went to fall as I was moving it a few weeks ago. I will just have to press out of the rack for a while and suck it up on comp day.
I was talking to a young guy in the gym last night, I sometimes give him a spot and he always thanks me and says he likes it when I spot because he always gets more reps. He told me he was moving in with his girlfriend and asked me how I manage diet and meal planning and sticking to a plan when you are eating with someone else. I gave him some good tips to manage diet and stay on track without having to always eat sperate meals to his girlfriend. When I told him to meal prep his lunch and that I had eaten 2 meals day of chilli at work for the last 9 years, the look on is face was hilarious.
I have to ask⦠have you ever shared a recipe for said chilli?
I have shared a recipe on here (i think it is in my original log and back then it was called Garbage Can Chilli) and there is a video on my you tube of me making it back in covid.

Having a chuckle here, because most of my injuries happen outside of the gym, and it is usually the dumbest imaginable stuff. I have been dealing with a wrist āinjuryā the last few weeks caused from cutting pizza

Bicep seemed ok- ish. My conditioning is terrible, lots of work to do over the next 4 weeks.

Some singles - 10 sec holds

Grip starting to slip, especially the left hand.
Barbell behind neck press seated

Left shoulder is still tight but I am assuming that is the bicep issue.

3 sets - these aggravated the bicep so didnāt do them .
