Overall happy with. Didn’t go too silly but still expect to be sore. Left bicep is a big worry, just letting my drink bottle to my mouth was pretty painful by the end if the session. Hopefully I can keep training log without wrecking it.

Sorry that bicep is still giving you grief though.
I would think the clean part of the log press is the culprit. You might be able to do some rack SOHPs to give some relief and still get your pressing in and let the bicep heal.
Yer I did some pressing with the log out of the rack on Friday. Wanted to give the clean a go today just to test it. Looks like I will be switching to all presses from the rack until the comp and then just wing it on the day.
