IDK man, if Chris Hemsworth can’t pull it off, I’m pretty sure I couldn’t either.

Thor just wore long pants. Problem solved

I just think of Batman and Superman in their respective 90’s Animated Series. Dream physique!

Technically this is Justice League, but it’s the same continuity. Absolutely menacing physiques!

I like the 80’s when even skeletons were jacked

But his legs look good - rejected!

I loved He-Man, though.

The reason @TrainForPain ’s clothes make his arms look big.

I have another one from this last week that’s even more ridiculous, but my kids are in it so it’s not going up. I’m sure you won’t find it hard to believe I’m wearing children’s clothes in another photo, though.

My daughter said something pretty profound in the airport last night. I was telling her I had to go home and do my laundry and pack and head back out and she was annoyed I was leaving again. I said I didn’t really have a choice and she said “then change your choices.” I liked that a lot.

Your daughter just sent Sartre on you.

That earns some ice cream at the least

We got popcorn at Spider-Verse, so her brother also gets to benefit from her philosophical genius

I forgot my knee sleeves and my belt this morning, so I kind of toned down what I intended… and ended up feeling the pain in all the right places. That might be a keeper for awhile.

  1. Lying leg curls
Ramped up doing sets of 8 for 4 sets. Super-setted these with the belt squats for the first 4 rounds

  2. Belt squats
    1pps/8
    2pps/8
    2.25pps/8
    3pps/8
    3.25pps/8

  3. Leg extensions
Used a band on these, which was cool
    Ramped up for 3 sets
Last set was a drop set where first I dropped the band and then a second drop where I went up a plate

  4. GHR
Also used a band on these and went quick on the concentric. Good contraction
    3 x 8

  5. Leg press
    4pps/25 + 3pps/15 + 2pps/20
Probably too light, but I needed to get out to catch a flight

For real

Really wish my gym had a best squat. Wondering if i can use a cable machine or a the hip thrust machine with a chain to replicate it somehow.

I think you’d be better off rigging it up with a landmine and some steps. I believe @T3hPwnisher does this in his home gym. It took me a few sessions to get the feel, but I’m starting to really like it.

The landmine is in the squat rack and tends to be quite busy. The hip thrust machine looks almost perfectly like a belt squat machine. I’m thinking i can stand on the platform, put a dip belt on and attach to to the belt strap on the hip thrust. Just need to see how the angle is of the actual pull and if the platform is wide enough for my stance.

Actually scrap that, I’ve just checked a picture of it and the platform is too far away from the weight bit of the machine. Almost perfect and yet so far!!!

Nailed it.

Otherwise, folks: it’s a belt squat. We MAY be overthinking this.
