All-out hammie day

I started out with a wild hair and did some cleans and deads. Nothing heavy; just playing around.

Then I did a brotastic ham day/ ultra-functional posterior chain day.

  1. Standing leg curl
Just kept going back and forth doing sets of 10 working up until I couldn’t get 10

  2. Lying leg curl
    Drop set of death!
    80/10 + 10s + 70/10 + 10s + 60/10 + 10s

  3. Machine leg press
    Feet high and wide
Just worked up the stack doing sets of 8 until it got kind of hard

  4. RDL
    135/8
    155/8
Didn’t feel like doing more and rationalized it after the cleans and whatnot

  5. Crunch machine
    4 sets

  6. Standing calf
    2 death sets:
    10 + 10s at top + 10 + 10s at top + 10

If a workout isn’t recorded on T Nation, is it really a workout?

:joy:

Just kidding.

Hey dude how’s things going? You still all good and training hard just not logging.

Hey man, thanks for checking in.

A little of both. I haven’t been training particularly hard. I have gotten 2-3 sessions in per week the last couple weeks. We’ve had a couple things going on that have just gotten in the way. We’re headed on vacation so I won’t be doing anything for another week!

Appreciate the note man. Responding to you kind of forced me to realize I’m Captain Excuses. I threw my bands in my bag on the way out yesterday morning and have been knocking some stuff out.
Thank you for the accountability!

It’s easy to let life take over but I know I’m a much better husband/ dad/ employee/ manager when I’ve got a solid workout programme going. I guess it’s a mental health thing but it’s so important for so many people.

Glad you are good anyhow and any exercise is better than none (unless it’s CrossFit).

Did band workouts with my son the last couple days while he had Avengers on. It was good.

Today I did:

  • 110 pull-ups
  • 220 push-ups
  • 220 crunches
  • 110 burpees
  • 1.1 miles (I think) lunge walks

For those whose work is done:
Well done.
Be thou at peace.

Holy crap! How long did all that take you??

It takes me damn near 50min to do a mile of walking lunges
