Got a day behind because I had a ton of appointments yesterday. Anyway, started the program I called out in the forum this morning. I stayed super light and away from failure today because my knees hurt and I’m a wuss.

Reactive Pump Hypertrophy Leg Day Uno!

  1. Leg Curl
    Did these on a “Hoist” machine that moves with you. I kinda liked it.
    Worked up to 4 crisp sets of 8 with 25 partials on the last one

  2. Squat
    No chains today, so I just went until my speed slowed down the slightest bit

    For folks new to this style, that was too big a jump at the end. I intended to go 275, 295, 315, but just wasn’t there today. That way gets you a little more volume at an acceptable weight though.

  3. Leg Press
    This was an escalating set, like a drop set in reverse. I used the selectorized machine for easy changes.
    1 big set with 5 jumps

  4. Leg Extension
    These never feel good and today was no exception. I believe from here out I’ll switch these for backwards sled drags. I know my “teardrop” area needs some work, and I can feel it working on these, but the exercise hurts my knees.

    I did the horizontal machine, which I did not like for this rep scheme; standing is better
