Tonight’s pork chops.

Guacamole.

Olivada.

Red beans rice. I used homemade salt pork that I’d cured from a fatty part of the shoulder and smoked pork tongue in the beans. Moy delicioso.

Chops carved and ready to serve. This is from a berkshire hog. Lots of yummy fat. She Say and the kids don’t care for it so I put it on one half of the platter and the lean on the other. The 3 big circles are the centers of the chops. These were loin chops. The bones are for She Say to gnaw one which she enjoys.

I’m doing Wendler’s Big But Boring. I finally bought the e-book! Take that 20 bucks and live it up James!

Here’s my new bench from York. Incline and decline. Only took me 2 hours to put together and there was only one part left over!

My new 45 lb bumper plates on my old bar.
This is 140 lbs. I forgot I could just drop the bumper plates until the last minute.
Video didn’t show up…dang!

Bench in my rack. The rack was bought off Craigslist. It’s a Weider something or other and can only hold 300 lbs. I’m thinking it can hold over 300 for a short time.

I won’t be making an offer, but this is pretty cool: http://washingtondc.craigslist.org/nva/spo/3120498706.html
Anyone ever seen anything like this? I can’t believe something made of wood would hold 645 lbs…but I be ignorant on these things.

Good to see you back at it, I’ve thought of building something like that a few times but when things get heavy I think a cage needs to be made of steel.
How’s the belt feel for squats?

Weight lifting shoes?
What do you guys and gals wear? I’ve been wearing Sen Jr.'s old wrestling shoes and my ankles are feeling it. Rogue lifting shoes look neat…
Thoughts?
