I’m pissed that you are able to train in shorts and t-shirts on the beach! I could train on the beach here but it’s covered in ice and snow. And in the 30s. Again, I hate you.

agreed. it’s -20 here. i can shovel snow for the whole block for some extra lower back work.

haha, it’s actually been quite warm here lately.

Great thread Panik. Keep up the good work.

Did you make your sled or did you buy it online? I really want to get one.

And can you change your avatar back to your last one. This new one makes me queasy.

This was my first time and I had a blast… thanks guys!

If you haven’t tried this kind of thing before give it a go. It’s great fun and will leave you gassed (especially if you’re an old fat chick!)

See you next time!

Thanks! I actually built it, and for cheap. Maby I should create a thread with instructions on how to build it.

If your gonna spew, spew in this [;)]

Cabre,

It was a pleasure having you. How did you feel afterwards and the next day?

The first time we did it we were all wrecked for the rest of the day and extremly sore for the next few days.

Panik

Sweet.

My brother in law just sent me this thread.

He knows I’ve been doing sand bag runs, tosses, sprints.

I live in Chula Vista so I’d like to try to come by some time. I read most of the posts. When’s the next session?

By the way how much does the keg weigh?

I am not sure if we are going to have a session this weekend or not, keep checking in and I will let you know.

The Keg as of right now is empty, but I was just able to get a second keg so I will be adding so weight to that one.

We have a broad spectrum of people who join us, so it needed to be usable for all

When I left you guys I ran over to Trader Joe’s to do a bit of grocery shopping, got home and took a nap! I never take naps!!

Soreness wasn’t BAAADDD… although I am thankful that I’m ambulatory.

Hmmm, must not have worked hard enough. Will have to try the overhead keg tosses next time!

How much does the empty keg weigh?

I’m not that strong so the empty one will do for me.

Its about 30 lbs or a little more. Though after a good 100ft relay there and back consisting of sprints and tosses it soon feels more like 50lbs. lol

Don’t worry we have lots of things to throw so that all can participate.

Thanks for the open invite.
