man, if im ever anywhere near Cali im going to damn sure be on that beach doing some ass kicking, vomit inducing GPP. This just reminds me how much i miss my own workout of torture and how i need to find somewhere, since as you remember i was confronted by a park ranger at my last session.
long story short, im one jealous bastard right now.
p.s. you ever decide on a new strength routine ?[/quote]
Hey WS4,
Don’t let that ranger stop you, I’m pretty sure there is no law about throwing rock in dirt lol.
Yes, it looks like I will be starting my strength training a little sooner than I anticipated. I was luckly selected to participate as a guniea pig for a study Eric C. is doing. I am not allowed to give away any details right now but I am very excited.
One of or guys Eric was sick and was unable to make it so my Girlfriend Mandi took his place.
And let me tell you she did pretty much everything we did, she is one tough T-Viven!
After talking to and getting some advice from Phill, we decided to do some relay types of events instead of just straight out activities.
For example we did a 100 ft overhead keg throw, to the drag sled and pulled it 200ft to the bowling ball and foward passed it 200ft.
Another favorite was using the two 45lb plates with handles to do a 200ft farmers walk to the keg and do a shoulder press throw for the same distance.
All in all we did about 4-5 relays. Very fun. And since this was Mandi’s first GPP training session I have to say she did a great job and never quit. I’m still in awe that she managed to toss the keg 2-3ft at a time. BTW she was very very very sore last night lol. So sore she was uncomfortable just laying in bed lol.
So are you guys genuinely interested in more people coming to join your GPP fiesta? I live about 15 minutes north of Mission Bay, so I’d totally come on weekends if that’s cool with you guys. Looks like a great time.

Well, I’d go, but I dont live in California. That, but I’m too much of a pansy to do anything, so the only real use you’d get out of me would be using me as a GPP impliment and dragging me in the sand.
