You think being a professional athlete with professional trainers and everything else, he would have better form…
P.S. I think Hilbbert isn’t worth the max deal he got.
Edit: Haha, sorry guys, here’s the video.

is there are link or video? It’s not showing up
Is there a video?
I wouldn’t be surprised if its fake like the Dwight Howard 315 bench video.
If it is real then that is an impressive pull for someone his size.
That’s not a deadlift.

agree
Roy Hibbert will be Erick Dampier re-incarnate.
BS DL too, and it pisses me off, Id rather see him do a legitimate 315 DL and be more impressed. Didnt he also have a squat vid up with verrrrry questionable depth. I know he is 7 feet and all but it still bothers me.
WHat is with the site as of late, some videos work and then others say an error occurred.
Hibbert is 7"2 and towers over us puny people. Getting up anything over 500lbs, in whatever form, is impressive for a top tier professional basketball player.

Disagree call it what it is, its not a Deadlift. Call it a trap bar rack pull for 540, or do a real DL for whatever weight you could do.
It would be me dunking a basketball on a non regulation height hoop and calling it legitimate…which its not.
Trap bar rack pull with straps.
Yep, that’s a deadlift. ;D
That was the point of my post, to kind of delegitimize your notion that it not being a deadlift doesn’t make it impressive. It’s impressive in context. How many other NBA players do you see picking up or lifting something over 500lbs?

I really dont find it impressive…in fact I would find a 315 DL much more impressive if he actually did it
Seems like he could do it though…
Why can’t a long armed NBA player DL some decent weight?
Brian Shaw is 6’8" and he’s still pulling a half ton, conventional, from the fucking floor.

I bet he could pull 5 plates from the floor, if he did that I would be like fuck yeah ROy!
Your Knicks have peaked at the right time Matty. People kind of wrote them off being any kind of contender mid-season but 'Melo has stepped up his game noticeably. They’ve had an awesome start and finish to the season; hope they continue their momentum in the playoffs and at least give the Heat a run for their money.
Dwight Howard’s bench video was proven to be fake?

Thanks bro…All I ask is if they do make it to face the heat (which if they dont I will be super dissapointed) is make those fuckers sweat!
