Is anyone else impressed by chucks 405lb bench in the vid here? Nothing appears to be fake (as far as I can tell). And 405 isn’t astronomical, but still impressive.

Barkley was kind of know to be over listed in height and under listed in weight. Dude is probably 265 at 6’4". More importantly, though, dude is just explosive as hell. Not that surprised honestly.

When shaq is benching you can hear the plates, they sound exactly real. When they go for 405 everything seems physically accurate

To be fair to Shaq he is 7 inches taller which makes a hell of a difference with the bench press

Barkley was an athletic freak of nature and one of the top 3 power forwards of all time. Calling him a “short fatass” and “very good” is a complete disservice to his place in the game.

My friend has always been a basketball wizard and he always gives props to Barkley whenever his name comes up. EASILY one of the 50 greatest players to play in the nba, and that’s not an easy list to make.
Also a super entertaining dude and hard to hate. I mean, does anyone have any dislike for Charles Barkley? He was thinking of going into politics but then decided not to cause it’s a “scumbag business no matter what side you’re on” as he put it.
I certainly hate him (relatively speaking) I think he says and is allowed to say idiotic things, and at times racist things, because its Charles being Charles, I find him irritating. He also trashes my favorite basketball team even when its unwarranted. One of the best players of all time no doubt about it, but a fucking dip shit off the court. Loved when my favority player of all time (Charles Oakley) put him on his ass in a 1995 exhibition game. SMD Charles.

That’s about as American as it gets though, right?
Oakley completely cheap shotted him. But, depending on how early you catch him (aka how drunk he is) I also find him kind of irritating. Know a few people who’ve met him and they all have nothing but good things to say.
