I powder coat all those neat sculptures you guys like to make. Probably done over a million linear feet of handrail in the Atlanta area.

Wow! That’s a LOT of handrail!
I wish we could powder coat these but, all they get is enamel… with a paint brush.

A few weeks ago I took the little dog to the vet because she was drinking and excessive amount of water. He looked at her and said she has a slight heart murmur but it’s not clinical, meh… she looks all right to me. Well now she’s lost like 5+ pounds and eating tons of food. Took her back to the vet today and he said oh no her heart is failing. How the hell did we go from it’s not clinical to we’re dying in a matter of a 3 weeks? But blood test will be like $150 and then there’s x-rays so it’s going to cost about $500 to make sure her heart’s failing. The other bad part is the medication that she needs IF her heart is failing it’s like $100 a month. So basically I don’t know any more than I did, except that my wallet is lighter.

Just doesn’t seem like we have even tried to explore any other possibilities. :rage:
So many thoughts and questions. She still seems happy. Still wants to kill all the cats. Doesn’t seem to be in any pain. I have no idea what to do.

I lost a dog to heart failure in the past, It was hard, he just seem to have slowed down a bit. After a vet exam, the conclusion was that he was finally slowing down from bat shit crazy to just crazy. He died suddenly.

I have friends doing the med because to had the chance to know before it was too late. One is putting herself in a hard place to pay for the dog meds. Other have decided to PTS.

Dog have a short life, sometime it is expensive to find what is wrong with them.
So do the best you can, love him.

I lost my puppy wupppy to heart failure. She was a great dog. We just loved her till the end and let her go to sleep.

It’s the really difficult part of having a good dog.

Sorry to hear about this. Out pets become our family members, and it is hard to see them go.

It’s that time of year again.
@TrainForPain I didn’t want to clog up the thread.

I have participated in most of these. I was thinking I need to sit this one out, but I don’t wanna. I have fun doing these even though I know I don’t have a snowballs chance in hell of ever winning.

It’s no secret that lifting for me this year has been random to put it midly. I just can’t get over this hump. The internet is calling it long covid. Whatever it is, I haven’t been the same since I had it. Apparently there about 23 million other people that haven’t gotten past it either. So, maybe I can stop beating myself up about it. The real question is… what can I do to fix it?

I would like to ask @TC_Luoma if he has done research on any supplements that may help long covid?

Yes, I can MAKE myself lift if I take the 3 min rest between sets but by the end of the day I am a wreck. My recovery is absolute shit. It’s like my CNS is shot. The problems seem to come and go.
Brain fog
Shortness of breath
Neuropathy
Fatigue
Night sweats
Random muscle pain
Muscle cramps
Digestion issues
Light headed/vertigo
Nervous squiggly feeling
Anxiety

I have had some of these problems off and on for years but they have never lasted this long. It seems perpetual now, like every damn day it’s something feeling haywire. I know I have autoimmune and histamine issues but I have always been able to slug my way through it.

Anybody have any suggestions?

I am doing the Transformation thing even if I come in dead last again, damn it! Because… if what you’re doing isn’t working, try something else!

Exactly!

I’m so glad you’re doing it. I don’t have any goals myself, but just your presence is going to be so positively impactful for so many others. Thank you!

The long covid thing is real. There is a definitive risk of myocarditis post-infection/ vaccination, so, to my mind, there’s something about that antibody response that’s a factor. That’s not to mention the pulmonary scarring they’ve seen in covid patients or the platelet clots. It took me a long time to recover after my first bout, and I do think a lot of my negative cardiac markers may have been related (since they’ve mostly resolved with time). I wish I had advice for you. I can say, because I have the lipid profiles to prove it, my health markers improved when I added I-Well and Flameout. I don’t know that that’s related, though; I improved the profiles you would expect, which may not be of relevance for you.

Unfortunately, we have NONE of those on the forum! We have some hard-charging youngsters winning at life with, perhaps, just a little bit more experience under their belts.

I have been thinking about this, and maybe the Elite Pro minerals. At this point its worth a shot! Surely it wouldn’t make things worse

Yeah, you can.

My last bout really messed me up.

I still beat myself up about it here and there, but not much. To date, it has not helped.

Hasn’t helped me either, but it’s hard not to. How can I take stoopid bicep selfies and make lame ass videos if I am not me anymore? I’m never gonna get those 22" arms this way :rofl::rofl:
