Rising From the Ashes (CL)

Sorry to hear about the doggie issue.

This is the great thing about animals that are cared for with love. If they’re not in pain/distress, they are unaffected. 3 legs? no sweat. Case of the uglies LOL? no sweat. Too fat/too skinny? no sweat.

Do the best you can.

Good to hear you will join me on another non-transformation. With regards your post covid fatigue symptoms, is there any chance that diet is playing a factor ? Could this transformation be a good time to get really controlled with your eating ? Also are you taking any supplements or vitamins etc. currently ?

A good mate of mine (fit as, mid 40’s) recommends these for help on fatigue (and he had long covid): Quercetin, Gingko and green tea extract as they all have flavonoids and compounds that have some scientific backing for overcoming covid. That added to the olive leaf extract which seems to have had a significant benefit.

I jumped on the olive leaf for a few months after 'rona - more precautionary if anything. My mate reckons it all helped, plus monitoring workload, dialing things back re lifting volume, etc.

Hope this helps matey!

Thanks Punny. Just trying to make her comfy at this point.

Thanks Simo!

My diet was a factor before the covid. There are things that just don’t agree with me.

Do you think my permabulk has gone too far?

Vitamin D, magnesium, potassium(occasionally) for the leg cramps, and Biotest curcumin.

Thanks Raven I will look into these. I appreciate it!

rather than just magnesium have you considered ZMA. Can assist with sleep and recovery but also has shown to help with testosterone levels for women.

I would give it all a shot! I’m not normally a “kitchen sink” supplement person, because how do you know what worked, but who cares in this case??
The more I think about it, the more curcumin (found in I-Well) makes at least a little sense to me if we think heart inflammation and/ or pulmonary scarring could be at the root (and I do).

No great research on that, but things like Vitamin D (I-Well), acetyl-l-carnitine, and vitamins B and C seem to show some promise. A Japanese study suggested that bringing serum D3 levels up to 50 and above made you practically invulnerable to Covid, but whether that has any relationship to long Covid isn’t clear. Hang in there!

Thank you!
I will add those to the list.
L-carnitine is what saved me during the last thyroid meltdown.

I agree with simo74. I’ve taken ZMA for years. It’s great.

This has been bugging me.

I am still trying to figure out what this means? Controlled how?

It can mean what ever it needs to for you chicken. For me it would mean meal prepping every meal and fully controlling my daily macros. For you it may mean a good breakfast everyday or more veggies or more healthy fats. But not just doing it for one meal, doing it every day for 3-5 months with no excuses. I would guess the you already know where you are inconsistent and you already know how to fix it.
