If I’m the “he” you’re referring to, let me know and I’ll try to explain in more detail. I feel like my posts have been specific, perhaps pedantically so, but I’m obviously biased. ![]()
IMO, the PDR wrote that warning in an effort to influence behavior. That said, the public and the medical community was extremely ignorant of all things AAS in the mid 1970’s. Most doctors were totally ignorant of all things weight lifting. Maybe the medical community didn’t believe that AAS could greatly assist building muscle. If you weren’t in the lifting community in the 1970’s, you have no idea how clueless EVERYONE else was about AAS.
Canada’s track athlete, Ben Johnson got the public interested in AAS. Thus started the phrase “…on steroids” (that totally sickens me to hear some moron say as if he has any clue.)
I doubt RFK gets past the Senate nomination. If he does, he will most likely have his hands tied to the point where he is ineffectual.

Thats pretty accurate.
Arr EFF Kay used poor McDonalds as the example for poor eating. Once again we see these people picking on Mc Donald’s and he used the cheeseburger in his example.
McDs beef is real beef and most likely the best thing you can get there. Its probably processed because it’s IMPOSSIBLE to supply the entire country with non processed beef (just my opinion, some of you can believe that all you want, believe everything you read on the net) (but I call BS!!!).
No one uses the crispy crème place in these examples and most mericans start the day with those and coffee.
McDonald’s is complete shit. It really is. In fact, actual shit from a healthy person is probably better for consumers than anything on their menu.
Once you haven’t eaten McDonald’s in a while, smelling it, even from a significant distance, will make you sick.
You just posted this on the net, so it’s safe to call it bs.
Are you saying go by smell??? If so, the doughnut place smells great.
Must be healthy!!!
NOT…….
Absolutely and as I said it’s my opinion.
You are trying too hard there……Carlo.
@SkyzykS McDonald’s burger is beef dude, you can get beef anywhere. The beef is not complete crap, but it may be processed in some places where the they don’t have a contract with local farming or the farm is hours away.
The smell is fries and all the other stuff which is crap. The dude used “cheeseburger” in his example.
We’re talking about food, right?
Not me. If I haven’t had it in awhile, and smell it, I start salivating.
I will not claim McDs to be healthy on the whole, but a lot of how bad it is depends on choices made. I typically order al a carte, and just get sandwiches when I do go. A double quarter pounder with cheese isn’t health food, but the protein to calorie ratio isn’t horrible. It is mostly the other bullshit that is bad for health and body composition. Fries, sugar filled soda are the main culprits (which come when you order a meal).
I don’t doubt that. For me, after about a year it just became nauseating. Its worth noting that I do have a nose like a bloodhound.
And a Royal Toe !
I just think about a cheeseburger and fries and get wistful. I understand it’s junk food, but the reason it’s made it to every corner of world is that the stuff is mad tasty. The Big Mac - YUM.
Jimmy Buffett had it all figured out.
AIDSburgers?
