Reverse Hyper Machine

Just to be clear, I own a standard RH. The one you can only fit 35’s on. Simple fix.

I bought 4 u-bolts, except they have a flat edge to them. You can buy them anywhere.

I then bought a 10’ 2x6, cut it in half, and mounted the RH to the 2x6 with the u-bolts.

I can now get 45 and 100# plates on it and we have had up to 600#'s on it with no problem. (3 pairs of 100’s)

Mounting it to the 2x6’s made it more stout. I then bolted it to the floor. Stable as hell.

I think I have $700 into it. I know they are more expensive now, but factor in a 10’ 2x6, some u-bolts and some concrete screws and you can see where I am heading.

Pretty cost effective.
