How does one go about loading the reverse hyper?
The one at my gym is too tall but just about usable with a lot of care.
I normally do BW reverse hyper for about a minute.
I tried 20kg . It was ok a bit easy.
But 45kg was quite challenging.
I was not warmed up, between shopping really
I can only really get one leg through the strap to get down safely.
Any guidance is much appreciated.
Are you asking for the mechanical process of adding weight to a reverse hyper, or how one would program the loading of reverse hyper in a program?
Programming. Don’t have the best machine at the gym though.
It’s the most assistance of assistance movements. I treat it like abs - I stress control and fatigue; I’m not worried about progressing it

thanks Train for Pain. it only allows loading up to 100kg.
To be honest, I wasn’t warmed up but 45 kg was plenty.

Warming up FOR a reverse hyper seems odd to me. The reverse hyper IS the warm up for my workouts.
