If you can’t pull a 45 pound plate off a bar how do you deadlift a bar plus two plates?

Edit - actually my trick is to pull all the plates off one end, then lift it up in the air so the plates slide off the other end.

Hey, a friend at a gym showed me a good method:
Unfortunately you’ll have to take them off one side. Then pick up the end of the bar that has no weight on it, and push the bar up so it’s vertical. The other weight on the other side will slide off on the floor. I know you’re thinking it’ll be loud, but it won’t as long as it’s a typical floor(ie rubber matting).
People will look at you funny, but hey, it’s either that, the hard way, or just put a few 2.5 lbers on the bottom.
