Today I picked up 405 pounds, but it was only a few inches below me, but it was really heavy.
I also pulled 275 from the ground, which was not as heavy.
Do you guys take off the weights when you are done lifting?

Ah yeah, why not…
I do not understand the question. Are you asking if we clean the bar/put away the weights after we are done with them?
If so, my answer is yes. It is poor gym etiquette not to.
nobody offers to put weights on for me when they are done using something…
What a stupid question.

Are you talking about deadlifting or what exercise were you doing?

I normally strip the plates from the bar and place them where they’re supposed to be. Return my dumbbells to the rack, etc.
Gym courtesy.
I typically offer someone the chance to work in if I’m planning on using the squat rack or the Smith machine for a long time, too. Again, courtesy. And it can be good motivation to work with someone.

Do you mean nobody offers to help? Are you lifting that much that you need several people and small village to load/unload your weights?
are you retarded?
I still don’t even know what the question is.
The question was literal and didn’t mean anything else, other than exactly what he said.
Everyone basically agrees that it is common courtesy to rerack weights when you are finished with them, except for the OP who doesn’t see any problem with it, but he’s a dick anyway.
Thread over.
Holy shit this is the funniest thing I have ever read.
Some twat actually left the weights on the bar yesterday at the gym. Rude bastard.
But what if he had a hidden message? What if he’s being held hostage at a Planet Fitness and he had to communicate in code to get his plea for rescue out!
I think he was saying he loaded and unloaded 4 plates from each side of the bar 275 times as punishment for not reracking the weight.
So what does everyone else do to atone for sins of the gym?
Hey 5 stars, alright man
Do you guys leave the toilet seat down when you are done? If so, why? No one ever lifts it up for me.
I usually don’t put any of my stuff away until the next day.

the beauty of a home gym lol. I don’t like being lazy, but after an exhausting w/o at home I leave the weights set up a lot of times.
Clean up the plates after your done regardless if its a commerical or home gym. Keep it clean.

He would have to be crazy to try that besides
enough people have cell phones now a days to call, he could just
lay around and get hostage negotiators to say,
please let him out.
Many people dont even go to gyms that would hold you hostant.
Enough of this silly talk. Its not as if
plANET FITNESS IS HOLDING ME HOSTAGE.
Heh woops, I hit the caps lock next to the A,
good thing it was fixed in time, people might have gotten mad if someone didnt come to my rescue and let me know.
I have to go now.
