I was reading the other thread on religion and I saw many replies of people supporting evolution and saying to show them the proof that evolution is false. Well, here is your proof.

1.There are 23 different evolutionary theories-all contradicting one another. Genesis presents the only creation story, that of God creating the heavens and the earth.

2.Evolution of man-
“Rampathecus Man”-proven to be an organgutan.
“Australopithicus Man”-dismissed as just another ape.
“Piltdown Man”-hoax created by putting together an orangutan skullcap and a human jawbone.
“Neanderthal Man,”“Java Man” and “Peking Man” are all now considered to be homo-erectus, in other words, ordinary men. There is no missing link because man was created by God!

  1. Scientific Dating (Carbon-14, Pottassium-Argon, etc.)
    Scientific Dating methods are highly inaccurate, here’s some proof.
    -A newly killed seal was dated to be dead for 1,300 years using Carbon-14.
    -Still Living snail shells have been dated to be 26,000 years old
    -200-year-old Hawaiian rocks have Pottassium-Argon dated at up to 22 million years old.
    -In fact there is only enough Carbon-14 in existence to prove the earth is actually about 10,000 years old-the age Creation Science supports.

4.Modern Evolution
The Peppered Moth in England-it’s change from white-coloring to dark is well-accepted evidence of modern evolution, but the darker moths have always existed. The Industrial Revolution soot-stained many trees. As a result, more lighter moths were eaten, and the darker moths survived, because they were camouflaged. A population shift, not evolution.

    Stalactites-They take millions of years to form right? Wrong. The Lincoln Memorial has stalactites growing on it. It’s less than 200 years old. Yet more evidence to back up Creation Science, which says the earth is about 10,000 years old. Evolution is supposed to take millions of years. Which means evolution is false.

  2. Faith- You evolution supporters say that “faith” is a crock. All evolution theories have gaps that must be filled in. Sounds like you guys are living on faith already.

Dr. D.N.S. Watson, a prominent scientist, once explained why he believed in evolution. He said,“The theory of evolution is universally accepted not because it can be proven true, but because the only alternative is special creation (by God) which is clearly incredible.”

Evolution theory is a modern fantasy made up by man to make it easider to turn his back on God. After all, if evolution is true, then we would be able to deny that God even exists.

Many people have been deceived, Mr. Jones. The evil in the world doesn’t want people to believe that man was created by God. If he was, then it means the Bible is true, and that we are all doomed to spend eternity in Hell if we don’t except His Son, Jesus Christ, as our personal savior.

Charles Darwin, the man who created the theory of evolution, said something. Yet you never hear about it. The textbooks, they teach all of his “theories”, but do they ever print what he said when he was on his deathbed, nope. What did he say? “Ya know, I think I was wrong.”

The Big Bang theory is basically about how a particle of dust suddenly expanded outward. From that particle of dust, the scientists expect us to believe that cells were created. How? How were those cells created? How were the simple organisms created from a particle of dust? None of you have an answer. But I have an answer.

i dont think that darwin endorsed the big bang theory, dont confuse the two. Additionally, (to play devil’s advocate) how do you explain dinosaur bones? howabout the neanderthal man and other evolutionary midpoints. also the seal example was an error. Everything has errors. Radioactive elements have half lifes. People can effectively date things by radioactive half lifes. next to last, do you really think that the world is only a few thousand years old? The process you describe is natural selection. Through a freakish way, black moths surfaced, and when the habitat suited them, they survived (the gene probably was always there though). A biblical example is of Adam and Eve. They were white right? Well if you believe that they were the first 2 people, how did all of the modern ethinicities come to be? Mutations happen down the line. When they are beneficial, the “mutant” become the most fit, and the world is about the survival of the fittest, thats all darwinism is.

I am the one that started the other thread and I am sory I did because regardless of what some may think my intention was not to put down FAITH. my problem was and is that each religion (again I know verry little of buddism) I am familiar with teaches a basic luck of the draw philosophy. if you are born into or atleast exposed to the “right” religion you go to heaven if you are not you either go to hell or your soul perishes. I have said there are reasons why I can NOT say there is no god and some may seem stupid (bumblebee flying for example). but my prob has always been more w/organised religion and not faith . as always peace (I hope in a couple of days you are not sorry you started this thread) again peace

No more religion threads! This is not the place for it. Evolution or creationism? Who gives a rats ass? Will believing in one or the other put 50 lbs on my bench or give me 20 lbs of muscle? Hell no. 'Til its over. outlaw.

It’s a complicated matter. You can spend hours talking and thinking about it and never reach a conclusion. I also had questions about evolution, and I asked my priest about it. He said that as time goes on, more and more scientists are starting to believe that evolution doesn’t make sense. For the most primitive organism to evolve into humans, who are so incredibly delicate that everything has to be basically perfect for us to live, would take trillions of years, not the estimated 13 billion years our universe has existed, let alone the 3-5 billion years our planet has been around. Also, it’s really amazing that we are even here. The odds of us appearing here are like 1 in 100 trillion if you take into account every event from the big bang till now. If anything didn’t happen as it did, we would not be here.

  1. There are lot’s of other creation Myth’s besides the Judeo-Christian story. Read anything by Joseph Campbell.

  2. Evolution is a Theory not a Fact. Personally, I like Francis Cricks’ theory or Panspermia.

I have to side with Brock on this one … enough. This is getting tedious. FAITH has a lot to do with body building … religion is man made. Anyway, I’m not going to go into a diatribe about my own viewpoints and feelings toward organized religion. I have faith in myself and that there’s something else out there, but what I don’t know. Nor do I know if it truly cares that I even think about faith or religion. If religion has to do with body building, then talk about how it has influenced you. How has it helped you achieve your goal! That I’m interested in, but no so much about what’s true, what’s false, who’s right, who’s wrong, etc. Stories of inspiration, yah, that’ll do. Thanks.

what makes me laugh is that you can call evolution modern fantasy but you can believe a story that is even more incredible and has no proof what so ever, and say thats how it happened. talk about holes in a theory.those who believe in evolution are misguided idiots but you believe in a mystical being that has no end and no begining, and can create a world with just the snap of his fingers.

hey you know what i think that all you guys have logical and valid points but i think that the most logical and scientific explanation would have to be divine intervention it is totally logical. Most people would have to agree with me and say that there is something that created everything. it just didnt come from some spontaneous combustion, or a big bang that was caused by nothing. beliveing that the big bang in valid is just as stupid as saying that if i take a bomb and set is off in my room every thing in it will blow up and go back together as if nothing happened. if anything this is more unscientific than any of the other theories. now i do believe in God i know that there is one, just take a look around,im not talking about the city where everything is man made but in the wilderness, or better yet the grand canyon, can you honestly tell me that that all happened by chance.Evolution is valid and it happens in our everyday live things always move forward and it is possible for us to evolve to bigger faster and stronger humans, who knows maybe there will be that one person with some whacked out homeobox gene that will be able to swim underwater and breath while doing it!!!

Give up the ghost man. Even the Pope has bought into this evolution thing. The Catholic Church held onto that “Earth is the center of the Universe thing” for quite a while. These people don’t give up easy. When they give up, its a good sign that everyone else should. LL

Please keep this stuff off of this website, I read this for training and nutrition info, and maybe a little comedy, and someone like my dad comes on the website and sort of takes the enjoyment out of it. I don’t want to know any of you personally. I just want to talk weights and things that pertain to weight lifting. I grew up trying to get away from my father preaching to me and I don’t need it here. Thanks alot DAD.

While I believe this thread should be deleted, as long as it is here, I have to respond:

The old “everything must have a creator” logical argument has been used to “prove” through logic the existence of a creator (aka “God”) for years and years. The problem is that this use of logic fails to prove anything, for if everything must have a creator, who created the creator? If you answer that the creator has always been, than a non-believer’s answer is “fine, well matter and the universe has always been.” The biggest problem with your logical argument is that of your first major premise, “everything must have a creator” – says who?

One of my old physics profs is an astronomer who studies stellar evolution. From the experiments he’s done over the last 30yrs, he’s concluded that the universe is older than 17 billion years. He’s recognised as the authority on the age of the universe (FRSC & all that). Just thought I’d throw that out.

Why do the fundamentalists have to spread their feces all over the web? If I wanted to hear about that stuff, I’d go to a religious web site or visit a church. It not just BB sites…they’re everywhere, talking their off-topic religious babble on sites dedicated to everything from woodworking to NASCAR. Webmasters should just delete them.
